A lot of people don't like this album because of their friendship with Nirvana around the release, but it's a fucking stellar album.
One of my favorite guitar records.

I like Dirty alot, but Goo is my favorite.

I'm a fan of Sonic Youth in general, so while there are certin albums I like more than others, there isn't one that I dislike. and I know alot of people may not have liked it, but I thought Rather Ripped was a good album.

They're all worth a listen, with the exception of NYC Ghosts & Flowers. It isn't a good album by Sonic Youth standards or free from the pedigree of Sonic Youth releases. It's not worthy of the listen or the money.

They're very prolific, but considering they've been recording since 1982, why is this surprising? Moreover, why would you deny yourself one of the best bands of the last twenty years because they've accumulated a large catalogue? Listen to Daydream Nation, at the very least.
