I have some music written for this. It's on my myspace, http://www.myspace.com/sowingseason12956. PLease check it out. Fixed the url problem. EDIT: My voice isn't very good on this song, to be honest. I put it up to see if you guys could find things that i should change to it. This was just to see if the structure of the song is alright at least. I'm going to have a better version on with a better singer sooner (I hope) or later. Thanks again.

You got a smile that reminds of the sun and the shade.
Either way it's a better place than I've been in.
I swear to God it's getting worse everyday.
When you're not here, when you're not here.

I've been treading along this path.
I've been finding new ways to get past,
all the problems that I've been in.

Everyone knows, everybody knows
that I'm someone scared, I'm someone lost.
I swear I don't know much, but I know enough
to tell you that I love you, to tell you that I miss you.
I've been on my way down all over town,
but it seems quiet now.

The silence makes us hungry for some
sort of miracle to just happen in our eyes.
God's coming back through our bodies,
our hearts are free, don't you worry.

I've been searching for you now,
through all the damn clouds, to see if you're around.
Yeah I know that you're somewhere out there
sitting near God's quiet little home.
I hope that you're comfortable.

I know now that I've been losing time
just to find you as a star, to stand right
under from where you are.
I know that I'm not much, but I'm enough
just for you, something of use.

What he said ^.

In terms of the lyrics - I'm not really a fan of the sentimentality, but I liked the nicety behind a lot of the lines.

If that doesn't make sense, ask me to explain myself and I'll try.

I've never heard the term "nicety" before. I fyou don't mind me asking what that means.

Thanks for listening and I'm glad you thought it was at least ok.

I listened to the song.

Pretty cool man. I like the feel of it - suits the lyrics I think. Could easily listen again. Your voice has improved quite a bit from the last of you I heard I think from memory. It's still not amazing by any means. But definitely improving.

Only real negative (aside from your voice, which you already know about) is I wasn't the biggest fan of what you did musically at 'the silence'. Threw me off a bit. It works with the song in general. Just comes in awkwardly IMO.

I've never heard the term "nicety" before. I fyou don't mind me asking what that means.

By nicety I kind of meant the way your lyrics are sad without being self pitiful. Without coming across as over dramatic. Your saying 'your scared' and 'your lost' but your not asking anyone to feel sorry for you. And I like that. Your giving yourself very little importance, which is humbling. And the music fits perfectly, cause it almost sounds 'happy' in a way.

So although none of the lines blew me away, they arn't too bad and they suit the song. I think a good compliment I can say is the song improved the lyrics for me.

So this is pretty good.

By the way man, if you had time would you mind commenting on mine at all? I hate to ask - but the lack of comments is forcing me into it.

work on the vocals. im about your vocal level and I wish I could do my lyrics justice and I'm sure you feel the same. This is not as refined or intelligent ans I believe you are capable of but there is some real promise in there.
