View Full Version : Need Advise on Girl Situation, please help, anyone is welcome to answer, guy or girl

ok heres the story...PLEASE!!! stay with me on this one, it may take a while. anyways, theres this girl in my guitar class named candace, and we talk and flirt, and she was going out with this guy mike, and they broke up over something, but this one friday she gives me her number, and i call her that night, and we start to talk. then on saturday night we decide to hang out, so we go to this park by her house and walk to this little pond, and lay under this tree, and just talk for like 2 hours, about every thing, then as time goes by we get close to each other now that we know alot about eachother, and she moves closer to me, and puts her head on my shoulder, and i wrap my arm around her, and our legs are tangled together and i gave her my zip-up, to be the gentlemen and cause it got cold, so then i said something bad about myself, and she didnt like it so she kissed me, and i said what was that for, and she said "cause i want you to think highly of yourself", and then we got up and walked over to this birdge, and just stood there and held each other, and sorta swayed back and forth, then we decided to get going, so we went back to my house, and sat on the couch, but she had her legs over mine, with her head on my shoulder again, then my dad walked in form outside, and introduced himself, and she said hi, and then he left, then she had to get going, so i asked her what she was doing tomarrow, and she said going to church in the morning, and then to the youth group at night and i offered to go with her, and she said "really!" like she was surprised that i offered to go", so she left and she called me later that night, and we talked, then the next nihgt she calls and tells me that we rushed into things, and that she just wants to be friends for now, and get to know me, so i said ok, cause i dont want to put pressure on her. so all that happened, and we've never really talked since then, but i always catch her looking at me from across the class room, and i wonder if why would she always look at me if she just wants to be friends. i dont know what to do, like should i tell her that i still like her, and that ill wait for her to come around, or should i just move on for now, and she if later on there is still something there? if anyone can give me advise i would be forever grateful. thank you

i definitely think you should talk to her, just get to know her better. Maybe she'll come around, maybe you'll realize you don't really like her that much.
It sounds like she really does like you, but she's just afraid of commitment. It's probably got something to do with that ex of hers. you've got to prove that you're different.

She definately seems afraid of something, commitment or whatever, she seems scared because it seemed like at first she wanted things that way, but backed off a lot.
I dunno, I'd say still try to talk to her, get to know her better. It seems like you two get along pretty well. Maybe ask her why she thought you two were rushing or if there's something else that's bothering her.
Talking to her would definately be beneficial...

I agree you should talk to her. she obviously still likes you but an ex probably effected the way she acts. She could be afraid of having a relationship with someone or her friends might have an effect on what she's thinking. Maybe you can ask her out again and see what happens. And if she calls and says that again after you go out, ask her what's up?

And did you mean we should be friends and let it progress? I'm sick of all the stares that you give me cause you're driving me crazy. thanks guys and gals, i appresheate(sorry dont know how to spell that) your advice very much, by the way it happened like about a month ago, so i dunno if walking up to her and grabbing her hand would be appropreate, since we dont talk that much, i think that would be weird, but i do agree that i should start to talk to her more, and tell her that i will wait for her. im glad that some of you feel that she does like me, cause ive been so hung up on the fact of her liking me or not, i do really like her alot, and i feel that she was brought to me so that i can change my life for the better, because before i met her, i used to smoke weed everyday, and stay out all nihgt and not call my parents and tell them were i am, but after that one night, i promised that i wasnt going to smoke anymore, and i havent because of her, and i feel that im in love with her. anyways thank you all for the advice, and if you got anymore please do post them. :lol2:
