My Chemical Romance (http://www.mychemicalromance.com) have roughly 5 new songs already written for the follow up release to Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR NEXT CD! i'm sure it'll be a little while until it is released, but i love "three cheers"...there's not a song i don't like on that cd. can't wait to hear more from them!

Agreed. I love "Three Cheers.." and most songs from "I Brought You.." I'm impressed by their speediness.

man, just think, in 2005 new releases from over it, fall out boy, co and ca, weezer, deftones, and now maybe mcr(perhaps a new release from brand new)!!! man 2005 will be an amazing year for releases!

next album for mcr = mega hugeness.

see them in small venues now, because after that album drops, they will be headlining huge concert halls.

Ya I remember seeing them before Three Cheers hit and there was prolly 30 to 40 people at the most ... those were good times, I love there live shows

i dont think its for that EP. when they played their "Record Release" show in philly 2 days after the release of 3 cheers... i talked to him and he said that they were going to take the songs they didnt put on the cd (i.e. if we're not careful we'll turn into catholics) and release an EP instead. i guess the songs didnt fit into the concept they were going for...

anyone remember the video where they said gerard was missing and that the video kinda plays into the concept of the CD? i dont see how it fits? maybe i dont look to deep into the cds but im still trying to figure it out.

I talked to Jesse at the Straylight show a little while back and he said that they hope to go into the studio in Decemeber. I think that's what he said, it was a little loud.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that they only write songs before they go into recording. They dont write while on tour. Either way MCR is a great band and I cant wait for their next album.

I remember that Gerard just took off to finish some stuff for the record and the artwork

Gerard procrastinated in writing lyrics for Three Cheers so apparently he had to get away from the rest of the band for a while. You're right he also helped complete the artwork.
