yup! lol, I got a gmail account that has 1000mb and a few days later I noticed hotmail increased their storage allowance... I don't know for sure but I would speculate that they did so in order to stay competitive becasue there are a lot of othe re-mail services now that are offering TONS more space.

yea, its random, some of my firends have 250, some are still stuck at 2, I dunno how hotmail decided, instead of making people happy bout new space, the people who still just ahve 2 are pissed off, lol

I have gmail and I'm pretty satisfied with it. For those of you who aren't cool enough to get invited to gmail, this site: http://www.xasamail.com/ with 2 gigs of space seems to blow gmail outta the water and it's free...check it out.

I got my 250MB the other day. My hotmail address is the first e-mail account I ever had, I opend it in about 6th grade and I'm a sophmore in college now. So I think maybe that might have had something to do with it. I also have a g-mail account with invites just sitting there cause I don't know anyone who wants them. So if anyone's intrested let me know.
