Eminem (http://www.eminem.com)'s new video for his anti-Bush song, "Mosh", can be seen right here (http://launch.yahoo.com/artist/default.asp?artistID=1037847).

haha, that's a good point. For me personaly Anti-Flag is the only musican/band who I can tolerate being political because they at least support their argument. I mean there are others but Anti-Flag sticks out in my mind.
Although this video is clearly not in favor of Bush and lots of things he and his administration have done, I don't see this as a pro-Kerry video in the least. I think more than anything he's making a statement about the groups of people ignored by politicians. The youth, and especially the black population are not hot-items for their stump speeches. Personally, I like the concept in there of saying what you think not making you un-American.

eminem's new album will be horrible and i dont see why people care what his position is on the election, its not like he has any intelligence or knows what is really going on, like all celebrities who comment on these things, they aren't living in the real world, people who are celebrities are only anti-bush cause its the popular thing to do, to be against war and be all like the hippies were, also its funny cause noone is pro-kerry, everyone is just anti-bush, i guess noone can still figure out what kerry's positions are since he changes them all the time...

Should we tell celebrites to stop fighting for causes they believe in too? I saw Brad Pitt on The Today Show this morning endorsing stem cell research and I guess we should tell Bono to stop fighting for Africa and the AIDS epidemic going on over there. Just because they're famous doesn't mean they don't have views, opinions, concerns, etc. I'm sure there are actually some pro-Bush celebrities out there too.

I really don't think he cares that you don't care. He says what he wants to say and if it doesn't please you then don't listen to it. He has always said this about his music...
I think it is a good video but obviously won't sway the election at all. I would also have to agree with the fact that it isn't a Pro-Kerry video but more as a hatred of Bush video and to stand up for what you believe in.
Eminem is probably the best rapper out there right now because he raps about things that are relevant, not slapping bitches and rollin on dubs.

i love how you compared being anti bush to the act of trying to stop AIDS, plus Bono and Pitt actually seem educated when they talk, Eminem is a white trash wigger who never got an education and only does things for shock value, how can you compare him to Bono and Pitt when this is all probably for shock value and to actually get sales for his shitty ass record that will be coming out soon, i'm an eminem fan but this record is going to be a bomb, next time make better comparisons

I think you got me wrong. I wasn't trying to compare. I was asking a serious question based on your comments. I thought you were saying you think celebrites should have no say or thought about the politcal situation of the world so I wondered if you thought they should try to steer clear of making ANY impact on the world. That's all. I wasn't comparing Eminem's anti-Bush opinions to that of someone's mission of conquering a deadly disease. Sorry for the confusion.

I like Eminem, I have his first and second album and I listened to some of his newer stuff, but it's all paint by numbers now. It was original and new and cool at first and now it's really not that big a deal to me. Part of me liked Eminem because his music was challenging the lines that mainstream music could cross, and to be frank, he's just not controversial anymore- nobody cares. Yet he still comes back with his raps about how he's turned the world upside down, and nobody cares anymore. I like his rapping and give him that he has all the talent in the world, but he lost my interest when he suddenly got more mellow for no reason.

Eminem's music has gone from good to awful. It's a shame because I thought the Slim Shady LP was close to genius. For the most part it was dark comedy at it's very best, fucking hillarious. He could also get a serious point across like no other. The MM LP was pretty fresh too but it all went downhill from there. This song is pretty piss-poor but if it gets a few people to vote against Bush (even if it's for all the wrong reasons) I'll give it props.

I personally don't have a problem with celebities trying to educate others and make a difference. The bottom line is that if Brad Pitt is on some TV show people will actually listen to him. If I said the exact same thing, nobody would give a fuck. What I think is redonkulous is when people form their beliefs based on their favorite actors/musicians. I can't see knocking someone for using their high-profile status to talk about something worthwhile and important over their new reality show or soon-to-be box office bomb.

i don't care if musicians are political. I prefer if they didn't say who they plan on voting for or maybe not voting for and it was just implied(best example is rx bandits). The bottom line, however, is musicians have just as much right to express their opinions as anyone on this board, they just happen to reach more people but are human nonetheless. If someone votes based on someone elses opinions(including micheal moore) they probably aren't ready to vote anyway.
Do you think an uneducated voter should vote with what little opinion they have or wait another four years? Discuss.

the founding fathers knew about politics and what they were talking about, just about 90% of these celebs dont, hence they need to keep their mouth shut and just contribute money or just vote like everyone else does and stop trying to influence other unintelligent voters who sadly look up to celebs and want to be like them such as let their opinions sway their vote, how you are going to compare Eminem to Thomas Jefferson or George Washington or Ben Franklin is beyond me...p.s. you like to say fucking fuck alot fucker

i have the new cd. its horrible. its just like mosh and encore (with dre). both songs are getting heavy airplay in philly. take those songs and squeeze them in to a cd. the tracks blow. and its nothing like his past releases. hes done.
and to the person who said he went mellow for no reason: yes he did. he went mellow because his daughter is getting older and he got in trouble with the police and the judge said in one of his cases he cannot be around drugs or talk about them until his parole is up. hence the line in one of his songs "i dont smoke but i toke enough to make my fucking p.o. choke". his career as a shock value rapper is over. its the natural evolution of rap: say a few things to get under skin than start rapping abouit pointless (in my mind) shit. hes more about doing black rap so to say than his white, shock, speak for white kids shtick he had goin on

and i used to be a hardcore eminem fan. my brother is now. and the end result is, we both really think what he is doing now sucks. he probably still has the talent in him to do another slim shady LP or eminem show, but he would much rather appeal to other people or seem more credible to do what he used to do. its gotta be for money or something.
and to the person above who shit on the infinite cd. that cd is awesome i dunno what your talkin about. and listen to the slim shady EP. thats another classic in his collection. hes put out about 11 cds. (not all of them with brand new material). alot of them are overseas cds and greatest hits collection, but i have them all and their all in my computer so hit me up if anyone wants them.
and i think eminem has the most bsides/unreleased tracks of any musician/artist/band in the history of music. trust me. i have over 267 mp3s of shit not on any soundtracks, cds, greatest hit collections, mixtapes, or compilations. this man makes alot of music and just doesnt put it on anything.

Infinite was amazing. Before all the fame, this "whiteboy" brought the raw sound of hip hop out and showed his anger, fear, and frustration in his life to this record. Also, this mans vocab is big. He can rhyme things so complex using words that u don't always hear. U really can't deny that, because I am a huge eminem fan, and have all of his songs, freestyles, etc and this has been proven to me and others by just listening. Also, every album is different. A different era and mentality and style. Naturally. Eminem is not stupid enough to put out the same record. The Eminem Show was way different in style/production/delivery/theme than The Marshall Mathers LP. Encore will be very different from The Eminem Show. It's called progression. Obviously he can't rap about being poor anymore, but the fact that he can rap about so many new and different, interesting things just proves his versitility. Even in freestyles he can come up with really twisted shit right off the top, mixing words, metaphors, and rhymes all together. Em is not just one to spit rhymes about one thing, then thats it. He has talent to express and create new, different material than any other rapper i've ever heard. I'm not white, or not black. I don't care that Eminem is white. If he was black, asian, scottish, or australian, I would still feel the same way because someone with this much talent is worth exposing.

i'm so fuckin sick of everyone saying Bush is dumb, i'm fucking tired of the news telling everyone what they want people to believe and not to mention people being stupid enough to believe everything they fucking hear on TV. the second a news station says something bad about iraq, suddenly. EVERYONE HATES BUSH and blames him. isnt eminem extremely againts homosexual marriage? but then again HATES the man who is banning it? what does that show me? it shows me that he's just like everyone else, "anti-establishment." he just hates the gov to be different, just like anti-flag, just like jason tate, just like punk voter, and just like all of you idiots who watch too much news. The media is negative and has turned most of this nation negative and againts Bush. if he was really the bad man that EVERYONE makes him out to be and if he has really done HALF of the thing the liberal media has said he's done, then he would have been impeached a long time ago. get your head outa your asses and start enjoying your freedom, not complaining about it constantly.

i dunno about eminem being against homosexual marriage, cuz hes really not even against homosexuals. and just because bush is against it, doesnt mean his views on bush shouldnt be displayed into a song. "oh i hate homo's, but bush does too so i love bush". its not like that. gay marriage means shit when compared to real PROBLEMS, which is why Eminem doesnt like bush. and u can say its coincidence that people dont like bush, and tv media doesnt like bush. the bottom line is, people dont like bush for a reason. there ARE reasons people don't like Bush, so stop assuming everyone jumps on the bandwagon just cuz u think everyone against bush is brainwashed by the media. If bush made the country feel safer these past 4 years, then i'm sure there wouldnt be all this "bush hating"

yeah, you're right, I'm sure if he had really done that many things wrong he would have been impeached. Impeached by the Republican dominated House and Senate? I don't think so. We save our impeachments for Presidents who lie about Blow Jobs, not for Presidents who lie about wars. Also, the media is not as liberal as you make it sound. There are so many things that happen here that are footnotes to the 6:00 news that make the front page elsewhere. I like how you can make assumptions about why people have the beliefs they do, i.e. just to be different. There's no way that people could make their own opinions about Bush is there? The fact that you call people idiots for watching the news, and trying to educate themselves is definitely one of the dumbest things I have ever heard anyone say. Maybe if you got your head out of your ass and actually paid attention to what was going on, you might learn something. I'd be willing to bet that everything you said came word for word from your parents. But hey, that's just a guess. Also, your argument about homosexual marriage is ridiculous here. Who is to say, that even if he was against marriage and homosexuals, that he should agree with everything else Bush has done. If you simply agree with everything any candidate does, then there is something wrong with you.

yea i havent seen it, im not big on giving money to movies that just edit things and take things out of context and state lies just to get people to believe their views, example : farenheit 9/11 which you obviously have seen considering you know the britney spears quote, and if you read what i said earlier i said that noone should listen to any celebrities so i think that counts britney and bruce, on an ending note, go look at kerrys record from the senate and try to deny the fact he flip flops, or just keep watchin the "documentary" made by mr. moore and believe what he tells you to....
Haha, I hope they don't define you as "conservative."
Bush V. Bush was a segment on The Daily Show, where they showed clips of Bush flip-flopping. You make me sick.
I'm not denying he flip-flops. Everyone does it, your just to stubbourn and partisan to realize the facts. Bush flip-flops, you flip-flop, I flip-flop. Get over it, we are only human.
I'd rather have someone that can admit their mistakes than someone that is to hard headed to admit so.
Think about it, would you want all of us to NEVER change our mind? Get over your partisan politics.
And if you HAVE anything to say about that, I think John McCain would be a better president then these two. Bush is a fucking terrible president and your being fucking stupid for thinking that he is doing a good job.

Yeah ok, I believe what i believe cuz my daddy said so...are you kidding me? if you watch the news to educate yourself then i'm sorry, Your getting a one-sided story, most likely a liberal point of veiw on things which means blah blah we hate bush blah shit. did i say anything slightly resembling that i didnt know what was going on in the world? I'll tell you what's going on. The country is turning into a bunch of weasly little sissy's like you always complaining about everything. Did you expect Bush to sit back and watch Iraq build up an even more evil empire under saddam and in time attack us like bin laden did except times 10? Or wait i'm sorry, for dumbass unknown reasons you don't think that would have ever happend even though he hated us and destroyed his own people by the thousands daily...oh wait, i forgot about the U.S. soldiers who died fighting for mine and your freedom God bless them and there families, but when someone joins the military he or she agree's to fight and to die for this country and for our safety. President Bush said that 9-11 was an opportunity to do generations a favor and fight terrorism, that meant to disarm saddam...did we do it? YES we sure did. Afganistan just had its first ever democratic election...but all this was the wrong war? we shouldn't have fought on these grounds? i'm scared for this country's future...God forbid the democrates take office and start fighting a sensative war...i dread the day that america shy's away from fists being raised at us...under a democrates lead only, we all know that Bush will cut that fist off from the wrist and show this world what we are made of...i'm sorry for everyone who disagree's. Our lives depend on a man who is strong and a man with leadership and will defend our lives, not some sissy who is more concerned with how the tree's are growing and how to better taxes...OPEN YOUR EYES, this election could very well be the most important of all...choose wisely

yea it is an important election. but our country should only be after a war if there is a huge threat, and what did they disclose? No WMD'S in Iraq....Big shocker. We got a president that promised to bring our country in the middle of a battle only if it was the last option. He failed to keep his promise. We all know and accept that invading Iraq wasn't a last resort. Hell, he even set his attention away from the man who was behind 9/11. Bush is weak and wack, and put the United States in more shit than we should be in. Maybe he is a "strong commited man", but he is also an ignorent stutterer from Texas. This was a serious issue, and the fact that America is in war in the year 2004 is the most ridiculous thing. Patience, better judgement, and a better man would not rush a war like this. Sadaam may have been an evil man to his own country, but our president taking control of his country under these circumstances was comepletely wrong based the reasons at hand.

once again people i bring you someone who only believes what he/she hears on the news and makes false accusations on the character of the president. Hey, you ever hear the story about what hit the pentegon? the news said it was a massive plane although no plane reckage was found at the site...it wasn't, perhaps there's a better reason why we are in iraq. thank about that? turn the fuckin tv off and start doing your research. dude, even the president addresses what is disclosed in the mainstream media. this is what us "common-folk" are exposed to. its not like i can hit up intelligence on my 2-way. we, as citizens, watch news, read papers, and do the best we can to get a sense of understanding of what is going on. how can we know anymore than what we are capable of knowing? sorry if the news said "no WMDs", but thats all we have to go by. AND the president of the united states acknowledges the fact that there were no wmd's too, so i'd say i'll take a lucky guess and believe there are no WMDs in Iraq, because apparently, unlike you, I cant travel to Iraq and find them myself. Are u like in on the whole thing or something cuz u act like u seem to know everything thats going on. Do u just watch the news and repel the opposite of what u hear? the bottom line is we are in a war right now. imagine urself over there killing innocent people and watching ur new friends get shot in the head. it's a REAL war and a majority of this country still doesn't know why the hell we're in it. i guess ur one of the lucky ones that does

I don't think the soldiers in Iraq would agree with your statement of killing innocent people...your kind seems to think that our soldiers run around and off people who have no guns, its sad that you think that...you said it yourself this is a war...how many innocent people died during ww1 and ww2 and other wars that america has been in? sooo many more then this war.. but again, THIS IS WAR people die in war. Doesnt matter why we are there, its the sacrifice for freedom, how many more innocent people would have died under saddams ruleing? We did that country a huge favor, but since the liberal media seems to think other wise...then so do you. and i'm sorry for that...and i don't know everything thats going on, i never said i did. i guess i just have more common sense.

By killing innocent people, i'm not just referring to civilians; mothers and babies. i'm also talking about the soldiers who are scared to death and fighting not by choice, but because they were forced to go fight. they miss their familes and everyday they pray that they can see them again. none of them want to die, and im sure if they had the option, they wouldnt want to fight a war in the first place. they didnt join the military expecting and hoping to go into battle and kill. war is not something to be promoted. it is something that should be obligated. Bush wasn't obligated to go into this war. the president didn't have to rush into this war like he did. i agree that if Iraq had freedom they would be better off in the long run, but all the killings, destruction, and not to mention the huge amount of money to fight a war were all unnecessary at the start of this. bush didnt go into iraq simple because he wanted the iraqi people to be free from sadaam. if that was the case, we could have done that 4 years ago. clinton could have done that. the reason behind this war seems irrelivant because iraq definitely didn't pose an immediate threat to the US right before we invaded. Bin Laden did though. why didn't we stay focused on him? I'm glad sadaam is captured and all, but a war? i think we needed just tad bit more of a threat before invading a country without wmds. but i guess your right and i'm wrong simple because i am a democrat with no common sense

without wmds? theres a bunch of weapons missing right now, but i guess thats not a big deal, I mean who can use weapons when you cant find them, right? and if someone signs up for the military thinking "oh well, we're not going to war anytime soon, i think i'll just sign up for the benefits", they obviously dont have a whole lot of common sense. Granted, it may not have been under the best circumstances, but I thank god we have an army like we do that is brave enough to defend people they dont even know.
