And it's really funny. Jordan ( the one with the deep scream ) has the fucking highest voice ever. He sounds almost like a pre-pubescent kid. It's quite cute. Johnny, the other singer, has a semi-high voice.

love the blood brothers... seen them in concert twice, absolutely insane. i didn't know if i liked them when i first heard them but they definitely grew on me and now i love them. it's just so different, and i love how they're not afraid to be so creative and explorative with their sound. new cd's alright, but piano island is better!!!

i havnt really heard a lot of them. That video that was posted on the news page was a damn good song. but its much different than the first song i heard by them (burn piano island burn) so im not really sure what to think of them or what genre of music to put them into.

that's the great thing about them! they don't really belong in any genre, and they won't claim to be part of any one either. they just make awesomely crazy music and i hate when people try to classify it... who cares what kind it is, it's fucking awesome!! shit i could talk about these guys for hours

I love them. Before though, I hated them and absolutely would not listen to any new stuff. One day I randomly decided to give them a second chance, and was amazed. Though I'm going to have to say that I really prefer the new album over BPIB. It kind of reminds me of BPIB infused with some At the Drive-In type elements.

i did a search on interpunk cause usually they have the ex-member stuff and when i did sharks keep moving, blood brothers "burn piano island" came up saying (Members Of Waxwing, Sharks Keep Moving, Vogue) and then i did kill sadie and under "we're all a little sick" it said (Pretty Girls Make Graves, These Arms Are Snakes, Minus The Bear).

i have no idea haha

The Blood Brothers put on an abolutely amazing live show, and that frantic, spastic experience carries over to their CDs, which is a feat in itself.

I just can't get into them.. The vocals aren't appealing to me. I tried last year and tried them recently when I had the whole huge arguement with Pat and Tony. Idk I'm not gonna shit on people for liking them anymore because musical taste is a matter of opinion, but I can't listen to them and enjoy myself.

"Crimes" was a horrible album, so I can understand why, if that is the only album one has heard, they would dislike them. I'd recommend checking out "Burn Piano Island, Burn" before making a judgement on their music.

I think Crimes was a masterpiece.

It's the most mature work the Blood Brothers have done, and it doesn't rely on the "I scream, you scream, we all scream for no reason!" gimmick. I love screaming, don't get me wrong, and they are great at it, but BPIB was just tiring. I found myself having to listen to Denver Max after every couple of songs just to recover a bit. Crimes mixes things up a bit and mellows it out just a little bit, so I don't get tired from listening to it.

I hated Blood Brothers at first because obnoxious screamy stuff isn't really my cup of tea, but after a lot of listens (and I mean a lot) they really had started to grow on me, and then with Crimes especially, I started to enjoy them.

I fucking love your icon. It answers the eternal question "Why didn't she get it on with one of the turtles?"

I mean, other than the fact that they were...radioactive...turtles.

OK, now I'm kind of grossed out.

I don't consider "Crimes" a mature album. If anything, it's a million steps backward for them. They got rid of the good lyrics, and they made their sound more simple. Now, they're just dull, and not worth listening to.

Actually, it's because "Burn Piano Island, Burn" is, in fact, a better album. If "Crimes" was a great album, I'd say it, and I'd concede that it was better. However, it is not. The lyrics aren't done well and the sound is simple. There used to be more complexity to them. Now that that is gone, they're simply another boring band.
