I love the OC. I don't know if it's something that I'd buy on DVD yet though. I dont' know if it quite has the replay value that other shows have. Dramas like that wouldn't be easy to watch over and over without getting relatively bored.

Why is that? It's so addicting. I didnt' get into it until near the end, so my roommate and I decided not tow atch any more episodes after we saw like..a few random ones, and then when the season was over we downloaded the entire season and watched it in ONE sitting. Like...27 straight hours. It was so much fun. Afterwords it was like we knew them, having spent ya know..days with them. :)

I'm so excited! I haven't missed a single episode since it premiered and have really missed it. And Modest Mouse and the Killers are performing on it this season. How can you get any better than that? And after the premiere, Life as We Know It is on...two hours of shallow and pointless TV in a row for me.

I think I'm going to buy season one a little later, once the price [hopefully goes down a bit. I really love the show, but I'm not sure it's worth the $50 for me.

yeah. I'm definately hardcore OC! I got started on it late becasue I worked when it was on for the first 10 or so episodes. Thats why I had to download all the episodes to get caught up. After I had all the episodes we would have OC marathons where we literally stayed up all night and watched 8 or 9 episodes in a row. Its SOOO great. Its like an AMAZING movie that never gets boring, lasts for 7 hours, and has at LEAST one climax every 30-45 minutes. I can't wait for an OC dvd Set!

The OC does have its addicting plot lines and decent characters ... however
I believe if there is a must-see on TV in its sophomore season right now, you have to say Arrested Development (season premier is Sunday night on Fox I think 8 or 830 ET watch it)
