Happy Halloween! I want to know about the craziest costume you have seen thus far this weekend. here at Penn State, I saw some fucked up shit. i think the best was this one dude that looked EXACTLY like hulk hogan, or the FLAVA FLAAAV that was a white dude that painted himself black and had the gold teeth and everything. anyway, this is what i have for you to listen to when eating your candy.

The Fight (http://www.purevolume.com/thefight) - You know that producer Neal Avron? you do if you like Yellowcard and New Found Glory.. well he produced The Fight's new record for Repossesion Records, Nothing New Since Rock And Roll. And this is a girl fronted brit punk/pop punk band full of energy. I highly recommend this record that drops on November 16th. If you like old Green Day, check out this ish.

Fell Far Behind (http://www.purevolume.com/fellfarbehind) - Their Chasing The Dream EP is really good. i highly recommend checking it out. They have that fast paced rifftastic-type style that is somewhat reminiscent of Thrice's older work. More pop punkish vocals though. Impressive nonetheless.

The Last Broadcast (http://www.purevolume.com/thelastbroadcast) - This band could become one of my favorite bands if they keep going in the direction they are going.

The Four Colour Process (http://www.purevolume.com/thefourcolourprocess) - I don't know what to say about them, but I recommend them to you. slower paced rock, sometimes with piano mixed into their compositions.

Cartel (http://www.purevolume.com/cartel) - Their upcoming Milita Group EP, Ransom, will make some waves in the catchy rock world, for sure. I just checked this band out today for the first time as a matter of fact. Stupid me for waiting this long, after hearing about them for a while now.

*i'd like to note that if you are in a band, are better than these bands here that I've recommended, or at least close to it, than you should mail me a press kit so I can check ya out and consider you for a recommendation. OR if you aren't in a band, then you should send me something really cool, sweet, or adorable. doesn't matter what it is..but if it's impressive, and i'm sure it would be, cause you are all geniusly gorgeous, i shall totally mail you back with something equally as cool, if not cooler. wink wink.

The band Cartel is pretty catchy, but the band The Champions of All Time do it much better. www.t-coat.com.

the coolest costume I saw was a guy dressed as a box of Frosted Flakes with a gigantic knife through his stomach...he was a CEREAL KILLER...thats a play on words if I've ever seen one.

i saw fell far behind for free a few weeks ago..they go to the same college as me, so they put on a free show where they announced the signing to pumpkineater and whatnot.

idk..i guess they're okay. their drummer, chris pastin, is fucking amazing. but the singer needs a better voice. the chris conley/jordan pundik vocals dont do it for me with that style of music

i went with two other people as rock, paper, scissors. people thought that the guy dressed up as a rock was a piece of shit. someone thought that i was a ghost instead of paper. it was lame.

the mastermind who invented the game of rock-paper-scissors should be worshipped. here in japan they settle everything with that damn game. teams, homework, lawsuits, divorce, suicide, genocide...okay maybe not that far.

i heard that they have added 2 new items to paper rock scissors. i think it's spock and wizard or something. spock beats everything but wizard, and wizard beats only spock and is beating by the original 3.
