What up guys. I've been spinning a lot of stuff this week, check it out.

Relient K - The hype is real! Check this new album out when it hits stores tuesday. It's their most mature album and in my mind the best lyrically. Good pop-punk with more than most bring to the table.

Motion City Soundtrack - I've NEVER been able to get into this band before. Something about the voice/production always bothered me. But then I heard "My Favorite Accident" and I was sold. Finally got into the rest of the album...it's awesome. I'm looking forward to the new cd.

MxPx - I've been playing my bass a lot, and tons of it has been to MxPx tabs. Love this band, tons of fun to jam to. They're the reason I listen to the music I listen to today.

Pedro the Lion - Control seriously knocks me flat every time I hear it. I can't stop listening to "Options". WOW.

I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business - Ace Enders is truly amazing.

Unearth - The Oncoming Storm is quite possibly the sickest thing this year. Best hardcore release this year, hands down.

Underoath - Seeing them live rekindled my love for them. What an amazing live show, and the new album is rockin'. Don't overlook the old stuff either, that stuff is good too.

relient k's last album was terrible, so this is quite an improvement, i'm looking forward to it, and GREAT call on pedro's control that is one amazing record, far better than the newest achilles heel

i totally had the same problem with mcs. i liked "throwdown" but had a hard time getting into anything else they had done. i really wanted to like them so every few months i would download some stuff and re-check them out and finally about two months ago i re-heard "the future freaks me out" and it all clicked.

interesting aside: i had the same problem with the early november for a while. i loved ace's voice and the acoustic stuff but i just couldn't get into the full length. it just seemed terribly contrived and derivative to me but then one day i heard "something that produces results" and couldn't get it out of my head and now i can't stop listening to them...funny how that works, eh?

right. because Pedro the Lion, Unearth, Underoath, and I Can Make a Mess are all pop-influenced punk. You're a fucking idiot, and we're all getting sick of your shit on the forums. Your sarcasm is not funny, and it's all you ever do. Get a life.
