Well, first of all, I would like to say how stoked I am to be seeing Something Corporate twice next week...including the show at Chain. AH! So, my friend and I have decided to listen to only them in the car. So..

Something Corporate (http://www.somethingcorporate.com) - But when am I not listening to them? I could go on forever about why this is my favorite band. Instead, I'll tell you some of my favorite songs, if you STILL haven't really given this band a chance...and still categorize them with Simple Plan and Good Charlotte.

songs.
1. Caldecott Tunnel
2. I Want To Save You (acoustic)
3. Airports
4. The Astronaut
5. Me and the Moon
6. Konstantine (live)
7. Walking By
8. Ben Franklin's Kite

And if anyone has any rare/live mp3s, and would be willing to send them to me, let me know. All of my mp3s were deleted off my computer, and I don't remember where I found them.

Motion City Soundtrack (http://www.motioncitysoundtrack.com/) - I had the chance to visit the guys in the studio this weekend, and Jesse let me listen to 5 of the new songs. Everyone better be super excited for this CD, because the songs are incredible. They weren't mastered or mixed at all, and they sounded better than 95% of the music that's incredibly produced.

Lovedrug (http://www.lovedrugmusic.com/) - This band is insanely underrated, and insanely amazing. I strongly recommend giving them a listen. I swear you won't be let down. Lovedrug is super relaxing...definitely rainy day music.

The Anniversary (http://www.anniversaryrock.com/main.html) - Even though they broke up, they are still one of my favorites. Pick up a copy of Your Majesty!!! DO IT!

Her Space Holiday (http://www.herspaceholiday.com/main.html) - Marc Bianchi is a freaking genius. Not only is he one of the most impressive musicians ever, he remixes for artists like REM, the Faint, and Bright Eyes.

i perfer the songs on their first full length 'designing a nervous breakdown,' or the songs off their split with super drag. don't get me wrong 'your majesty,' was a fantastic album, but it couldn't live up to the anniversary's other releases.

Kudos on the Anniversary being in your recommendations. I absolutely love them, but I would disagree as far as Your Majesty goes. Designing a Nervous Breakdown is superior in my opinion. Tis a damn shame they broke up though.

I love Something Corporate so much. I hate people that just write them off with SP or GC, their lyrics and even their sound are completley different. I mean there is obviously a pop influence to it but you could never call them "pop-punk". I am seeing them twice the Week of Nov.14th, maybe 3 times if I can wrangle it.

I couldn't agree more. Everytime I tell someone that I like Something Corporate they either say... "Aren't they like GC or SP?" or "Dude they are awesome do you like GC or SP?" and my answer is quite obvious "No they aren't like GC or SP and NO I don't like EITHER of them."
