Before you go to vote make sure that you have/have done everything on this list (http://michaelmoore.com/takeaction/vote/checklist.php) so they will let you vote today. If you have gone already and gotten turned down call 866-OUR-VOTE where you can talk to someone who will inform you of your rights and let you know what you can do. In most cases you will be able to submit a provisional ballot.

those were all the polls going into today (check the dates) ... showing the gains that kerry had made.
record numbers are currently turning out to vote. the more people that vote, the better chance kerry has.

Jason - I've wondered this since I've known you and you're not online so I'll ask here: What would you do if Bush won today? Just curious.
Edit: How come Nader didn't realize this wasn't the year for him to do what he's doing?

Haven't you people learned anything from the 2000 election? Exit polls mean nothing. The sample pole was taken from 59 women and 41 men. 100 people do not determine the election.

"Early 2000 exit polls showed Gore +3 in Florida" Straight from drudgereport. That's how little exit polls mean.

actually, exit polls are usually quite accurate, but I'm not sure I'd trust one if it only polled 100 people.

says you. A record amount of voters are voting in Washington, especially in the deeply conservative eastern part of it, and they're supporting Bush. He's moved into the margin of error in a state that people thought would NEVER go republican, all charts show it as a cinch for Kerry. Appearantly, the Bush supporters are making their voices heard...in the voting booth, instead of Kerry supporters shouting threats at me as I walk to school in the morning.

I must say I did not need any of that stuff the list says. I am glad I didn't because I didn't bring any of it, nor did I receive the card they are talking about. It's not like my vote means all that much since I'm more of a democrat and in Massachusetts.

Except the point is that the Drudge Report's polls are hardly accurate. I trust the Big 5 (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox) and those are it. Drudge Report had Bush ahead in Florida by 24 points at one point on election day last year.
(And the Drudge Report is actually one of the more independent blogs out there Tate... does well to trash Republicans and Democrats alike.)

I had to do the provisional one myself. GO KERRY!
Why the hell would anyone vote for Bush....
They feel he is a better leader than Kerry, they like his economic policy better, they're anti-abortion, they're anti-gay marriage, they enjoy his tax policy, they think he's done a good job of the war in Iraq... take your pick.
Just because you (which, you're from the UK so you're opinion in the US election ends up meaning a great big nothing) don't like him, doesn't mean others don't.
As a side note, I did NOT vote for Bush.

Like it or not, I guarantee you that Washington will be for Kerry. I'd bet much money on that, yes I would.

kelsey i feel you crossed a line in the election thread, by the way my last name on here was knivesbatstats, i love how you go through the whole election thread and ban everyone hours after people have said stuff, if tate had wanted to ban us dont you think he would of done it at that moment and time or surely a little bit after, but no he didnt so we shouldnt have been banned, but then you come in and ban us all when you were not even a part of the conversation, plus tate gave me a last warning and after he did i stopped did i not? so why then go ahead and ban me anyways?? im sorry tate is all sad and depressed his candidate lost but he really needs to get over it and accept that bush is the president for 4 more years, if hes not being a sore loser then i dont know what a sore loser is, and you are just a crazy bitch who stuck your nose in a matter that you were not even a part of, if tate had wanted to ban us then let him, dont do it for him, and on a last note, you said you were BANNING ANYONE WHO INSULTED A STAFF MEMBER, well then BAN TATE! hellooooo did you not read him insulting scott and pissing him off????????? can you read? this site seriously disgusts me, i will no longer come here so feel free to ban this name too and if anyone ever mentions this site to me i will verbally piss on its name cause it isnt shit, its owner is a person who doesnt respect others' opinions, you are a crazy bitch, and this complete site has no fairness in how it is operated. the end, have a nice day, go bush, stop crying bitches. accept reality, he won the popuar vote and electoral, the house and senate are in conservative control. bush got the largest amount of popular votes EVER. how can anyone argue that this is was not what the people of america wanted? have a good day cause i know i am and my fellow texan george w. bush is as well.
