I found that, in most situations, the less I cruised the internet, the better I felt about myself, but I couldn't not post here after seeing this.

It's very odd, in an old situation that James mentioned, something similar happened. My roommate posted some threads and got me a 3 day ban (and apparently earned me the eternal dislike of a user called newfoundnorcal), so I just decided to can it. I told myself that I wouldn't let something like that happen, but lo and behold.

I don't know what I'll do when mht gets back. I'm not coming back because he left. I'm coming back because of this thread. I've yet to decide whether I'm going to deal with getting insulted for no reason. I don't aim to "drive people off the board," or exercise some sort of "elitist skramz" code. I made the skramz banner for lulz in 2007. I am not a crusty, and am about as far from a "pedophile" as possible. MHT picked up this insult because of band drama involving two members that are not me, and it was a bunch of bs anyway. I don't even listen to THAT much 'skramz'. Whether or not my pretty derivative screamo band is shitty and the worst music ever is ultimately up to you, but I as a human being am not the quality of my music. I will treat everyone with fair respect as best I can, and I have done this for a long time now.

So, I guess I'll cross the Mike bridge when he returns, but in the meantime, thanks everyone. Stuff like this, even though only on the internet, truly makes me happy.
