B&C's side definitely rules. S/T is so good and the only song that feels like it could be on it, from the split, is Danielson.

Probably because all of those songs were redone versions of the songs they made on their super old album Belongs to the Dead, which was kinda shitty to be quite honest in compared to their later stuff (though far better versions of some of those songs like the Sun ended up on the self titled). I do dig Danielson though.

Another remake will be Buona Pizza from one of their first (if not the first) EP they made, which will be on the new album... last time they played it live they didn't know the words and it sounded awful.

They've progressed so much since then, the only reason I think they redo those songs is fan service for the dudes who followed them from the beginning... which is cool (these guys are truly some of the nicest dudes, especially Pat), though personally I'd prefer to hear more new stuff.

Either way, I have both of their albums. I love this band and I don't know why. Neither of the vocalist can sing, really, and the music is so simple. If you didn't know any better, this could have come out in the mid 90's, Sonic Youth, Nada Surf, Silverchair times.

The closest they've been to Lincoln was either St. Louis or Chicago. I would gladly go to Chicago but at the time, there wasnt a bus going to and from Chicago in Nebraska so it was hard trying to find people to go. Both of those are like 8 hour drives. I've been into Tigers Jaw since they only had their S/T out. it sucks that I have had to wait so long to see them that they barely play any of those songs live now.

When they released 'No Mask' for streaming I was super pumped for the split. I loved the song, especially their use of Brianna's vocals. I was pretty disappointed when the other two songs came out though. 'My Friend Morrissey' is a solid song, but 'Haze Coffin' isn't even really a track. It is just occasional acoustic guitar strumming paired with some lazy vocals after 'No Mask'.

What do other people think?

I feel exactly the same way. I love No Mask, I also like Morrisey a lot but not a big fan of Haze Coffin and I hate that it's paired with Mask because I never want to listen to it

I hope they get a full length out at the end of the year, And I hope it's 50% Ben/Bri songs 25% Adam and 25% Adam/Ben
