Really? Damn, Im moving to Canada...Hockey is amazing (my fav. sport to play/watch). Its a requirement that I marry a girl that like hockey. Well honestly I like the New York Rangers (we are so bad, that its funny) and the Dallas Stars, if I had to pick a Canadian team though I probably would pick Toronto. I would get killed if my Islander friends knew I said that but seriously Toronto is what a hockey team should be, hard hitting team, with skillful players (esp. with them getting Leetch) who go to the net. Or at least thats what I THINK a good team should do.

My gf right now...she's a fake Rangers fan...she's like "but I have a NYR sweatshirt and I don't like the Devils cause they're from Jersey and Jersey is gay"...she didn't even know who Mike Keenan was!!! AHH!! Man, a girl who actually knows hockey...but isn't some uber-scary tom boy (ie. avril lavigne)...that'd be heaven.

Hahaha, Im sorry but it was one of the best days of my entire life. Game 7, Stanley Cup, Mark Messier holding the cup...I got chills and still do when I think of it....but that seriously was the best Stanley Cup series I have ever seen. Vancouver played so good that year....Pavel Bure was insane.

Vancouver was good until the whole Bertuzzi incident...I know I can't blame the team and ya it was a reaction to what happened in their last game...but that just puts another black eye on the face of the NHL...absolutely disgusting. They were a decent team I felt...they really used size to their advantage.

I know! I'm watching the games every week...it's so much fun just watching the Rangers go...kovalev not fucking up...Messier leading the charge...Leetch and Beukeboom together...Graves, Larmer, Mctavish, Richter...ah heavenly. In my ESPN NHL 2k5 I unlocked the Rangers 94 team...legendary.

i don't get why ppl make the bertuzzi thing such a big deal, there was no way that the punch busted his vertebrae, it was the goon avs players that decided to jump on top of moore when they fell. Moore was definately not a clean player, his hit on nazzy was cheap, dirty, and way late.

Yea I don't like detroit either but meh they wont have a team sooner or later since everyones practically over 35 and retiring :p

I LOVE the rangers. I have this video tape of when they won the stanely cup and I used to watch it OVER and OVER again. I loved it. I went to a game two years ago, good seats. I have a huge Ranger Jersey with I think Gretzky's name on the back. I also used to collect hockey cards. But that stopped. I remember one time I sold my Ranger Alexi Kovelov(SP?) card(It's been so long). Saddened me.
