I just watched their new series "Destroyed In Seconds" and it was amazing.

Dirty Jobs is fantastic, as was the multi-part documentary, Planet Earth, but in completely different ways.

I almost never watch TV anymore, but I love Discovery Channel. I really want to pick up Planet Earth in Blu-Ray

Gotta love the discovery channel. Whenever I watch TV that's the first channel I check.

Cash Cab is my favorite. But this is probably the only channel I watch. Besides re-runs of I Love New York on VH1.


And Man vs. Wild is (mostly) fake.

Yeah, but when I found out some of his shorts are in areas with roads right behind him, it turned me off.

Either way, it doesn't matter. it's not like he isn't drinking his own piss and cutting animals open. it's not a show about him surviving, it's a show about teaching us HOW to survive IF we were in that position. no way in hell would they risk him dying out there

That's what I think. I still have to watch the Deep South, haven't gotten around to that yet.


Cash Cab's also a great show, as was the Planet Earth series.

I mean, it serves its purpose of how to survive by yourself, but I think a lot of the props he used is planted there ahead of time and stuff.

I just watched him manhandle and kill an alligator by stabbing it in the spinal cord, then take it and sling it over his back to go eat it. This man is a badass no matter what.
