The first time I ever came here was when I was pretty obsessed with Dashboard. dcsoimpossible.com (no longer up, hasn't been for a long time) said something like "according to absolutepunk.net there will be a Dashboard/Movielife tour coming in the summer". Needless to say the tour never happened, and I've been hooked ever since.

I've been coming here to the actual site since 2001 I think (sometime during the fall of my sophomore year of college), but I didn't register until Nov. 2002 because I was never into message boards and all that stuff. The only reason I even registered was to ask a question about some concert venue out in Iowa that a friend and I were driving 4 hours to (sidenote: ended up taking 2.5 hours because he drove 120mph almost the entire way) because a tour wasn't coming through Minneapolis (The Used/Thrice/My Chemical Romance/Story of the Year).

So yeah, I posted 3 times way back then and didn't do it again until this last month once I graduated college and got a temporary (I'm still shooting for med school) full-time job that has me sitting on a computer all day and I have a lot of time where there's a lull in the amount of work I have to do.

all i remember is the old news page and how it changed like 5 times over the course of a month. oh, and then "the apocolypse" when the mods went on a crazy spree and banned half the people and deleted the other half's post count. then everyone migrated to KnifeParty. crazy times, children

when the "JK incident" happened in august, there was about to be some mad spamfests. it didnt happen though.

i've been coming around these parts since before my balls dropped. so i guess that was when it was a blink 182 fan site, whenever that was. that makes me feel pretty old now, i must say. i didn't join the forum until you had to if you wanted to leave a comment in the news section.
