That sucks. What is pink eye actually like? I've never had it, I've just heard about other people who have had it. Does it itch, hurt, or just look gross? Just wondering.

Prepare for gross:

The last two days my eyes have been itchy but nothing more. Then yesterday my right eye got really blood shot. Then you know the stuff you get in the corner of your eyes? Well, I started having uncontrollable ammounts of that, except it was thicker and really white, kind of mucas-y. Then this morning I woke up and both my eyes were crusted shut and I couldnt open them until I got a wet rag and washed them. They hurt kinda bad, they itched more yesterday, and they're swollen about half way shut.

It sucks BIG TIME. :neutral:

haha yea well I woke up and almost cried. My eyes are one of the few things I like about my physical appearance and to see them like that was disgusting.

My doctor's appointment is in 45 minutes. :neutral:

One time in 6th grade during school on a friday my eyes started itching. And that night was our first school dance, and I went to the nurse and she said I had pink eye. So I was sent home and couldn't go to my first dance. So I was sad at home by myself watching Willy Wonka.

Yes, I too have experienced pink eye...it's disgusting. My dad got it once and then I got it right after him. It's crazy contagious too. Bleh.

OK. So I go the doctor and they tell me I don't actually have pink eye. And they 'think' it's probably just allergies. I hate when doctors don't actually know what the hell is wrong, so they either blame it on allergies or throw meds down your throat. In my case, they did both.

i had it last summer. i couldnt open my right eye, it was red like claudio's at the end of the blood red summer vid. it prevented me from riding my bike to get WYWTB the first it was out.
