I'm exactly the same dude. I used to love them, now i dont care so much, but i seriously would love some sweet lightsaber action. Episode one was pretty gay, but it was worth it for that fight with the 2 jedis and darth maul. The fight in episode 2 with yoda was bloody hillarious first time i saw it, but not as satisfying. Heres hoping for some crazy-go-nuts episode 3 lightsaber fighting.

I have high hopes for this movie. The other 2 movies could've been about whatever really, and only vaguly tied in with the storyline of 4, 5 and 6, but this movie has to actually let Episode 4 follow onto it, and I'm curious as to how they have done it

Anakin's creepy eyes.

Anakin/Kenobi fight where Anakin is injured so he has to don the suit eventually.

I don't think the acting was bad... i think they just had horrible dialog to deal with. The movie wasnt groundbreaking, but it was very entirtaining.

As for mace windu being able to rip the emperor apart and yoda not being able to... i was wondering it myself, but my friends decided that the emperor purposly put himself into that position so Adakin would turn to the dark side. If the emperor just beat windu, adakin wouldnt have turned right away.

i don't understand how george lucas can get away with writing some of the most bland, banal dialogue and still get people to cry masterpiece. this kind of serial dialogue died 25 years ago with the good star wars films. the new film was overbearing with effects. The great cast could hardly keep their head above the disgusting screenplay. great action sequences can't save a plot dying from shallow writing. i even gave this film a second chance, and fell fast asleep. i think a lot of us(maybe even lucas) are just afraid to admit that this saga died a long long time ago. despite an awesome opening sequence(ironically with little dialogue), and some great light sabering, this film was completely utterly average.

You hafta remember that he just turned into Darth Vader, and lost the person he lived for at the same time, so he isn't that cold and heartless YET. He grows like that over the many years that it takes for Leah and Luke to become older, growing bitter because of the loss of Amidala and the Darkside's evil.

2nd, I think Palpatine was totally faking himself getting almost killed. He only did that to watch Anakin betray his own Jedi kind and go farther into the Darkside. After he killed Mace Windu, he knew he was going to get punished or whatnot and turned to do Darth Sidius's bidding.

And btw, I heard that next year they're going to start a tv series of Star Wars to show what happens between Ep. III and IV. Don't quote me on it tho, I THINK it's between those Episodes... and NO it's not s'posed to be a cartoon.
