So this doesn't take into account the first album? They definitely shouldn't win any most imroved awards for WYWTB. And before I get bashed, I love the fuck out of Tell All Your Friends. I'm not jumping on the i hate tbs bandwagon, I just don't see this is a step up.

I liked tb's new cd , i think they deserve it , it might just be me but alote of follow ups sucked this year .... maybe thats why they won

something corporate, nappy roots, sugarcult, and brmc were the others up for that award. so i guess i can see why tbs won even if [i think] the album sucks.

i dont think the album sucked but it wasnt that great either, and i dont think this award is saying that it's an improvement, but yeah, the competition wasnt that stiff

it's also very very hard to follow up something like tell all your friends. the only band i thought had an incredible debut album that followed it up with an even more incredible sophomore album is brand new. (i almost included thursday but i forgot about waiting, didnt like that album)

I agree, but "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" was damn good too, however, so I don't know if Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge was better than it. They both are amazng albums tho.

I don't think the award means that the second album was better than the first, it was just saying out of all the sophmore releases that were nominated this year, that one was the best. and I agree. even though it's nowhere near as good as TAYF, I still like the new record.
