I originally posted this in another forum but I was wondering if anyone thinks it'd make a good show. If so I'll sell my life story to anyone willing to us it for 50% of all profits/benefits received from using it.
well i'm actually stationed in miramar(san diego county) but my home town is the first town north of pendleton so i've always been around there too. so laguna beach is a show now too? cause then it only a matter of time before you'll see laguna niguel, dana point, san juan capistrano and san clemente with their own tv shows,.... it'll be called The Southern OC and it'll star a Marine whos pissed that on weekends when he drives home it takes 3 hours for a formerly 45 minute drive,can't catch a movie with friends he hasn't seen for about a year cause all the roads are flooded with summer tourists. And then for drama everytime he meets a chick she's from outta state, his best friend is a part time construction businessman/ part time go kart racer, and just before he leaves home on a deployment he finds out that one of the many kids he grew up with (at the boys and girls club learning responsibilty and moral character,etc) is now a serious drug dealer with a metal plate in his head from a deal gone wrong. both of his parents are on their third marriages and he has 1 bro, 2 half bros and a half sister. He grew up watching shows like ninja turtles,gummi bears, and swamp thing, which later caused him to join the corps cause he wanted to fight "bad guys." .....throughout the story he goes through all sorts of relative moral revelations caused by being separated from home, heart break from the one girl he's loved forever but has never been with(as a couple), and just understanding that people are the same everywhere you go.....
