with such a larger number of different style acoustic acts out there today, who do you think is the best. i am just bored and wondering everyone ones opinions. i have been pretty addicted to time and distance and rocky votolato lately.

When Chris Carraba redid hands down, it was like when Lucas redid star wars and made the new ones.

Ben Harper ( Acoustic disc on Live From Mars ) most beautiful acoustic album of all time. Also Counting Crows live from NY acoustic was really good.

yea, but the other Ben Harper is 5x more talented than the YC guitarist. Just my opinion though.

Yes, On Your Porch is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful songs ever.

I love when Say Anything goes acoustic.

never heard this one so i cant compare... yc's ben is decent. the solo in "salesman" is pretty tight.

You should defintely try to check out some of Ben's stuff. I mean he has other stuff other than acoustic, that was just one album, but his stuff isnt punk.

Also, Say Anything does do acoutic beautifully. I couldnt agree more.

i prob will. and whats funny about this is that i was at best buy today and they had a sign up for ben harper. i was really confused. now i get it haha.

but yea i love say anything also. what songs do they have acoustic. i have "i want to know..." what else is there? and i do mean full acoustic...

That's the only one I got, I just made a post on the news page trying to find Say Anything's fan site with some of their older stuff on there. I think some of his older stuff is acoustic, I'm hoping at least.

That is funny about seeing that Ben Harper sign, that made me laugh.

sorry, but i hate "on your porch," i skip over that song every single time it comes up. i seriously cant stand it, but i love the rest of the album

Iron & Wine - "Bird Stealing Bread" is probably the best acoustic song I've ever heard.

I do have a place in my heart for the Swiss Army Romance, but I really think that the So Impossible EP is the best thing he's ever put out
