HelloooooooooooooooOOOOoooooooooo nurse! i've had a ridiculously fun week, hope you can say the same. but ok ok, i'll oblige you with the reason you are here. new bands for your to put your deeerrtay lil fingas on. did i just say deeerrtay? ugh. and yo, i want more myspace friends and comments! The Reason (http://www.thereason.ca) - this nut grabbing thrash band is for fans of Underoath, Thursday, and From Autumn To Ashes. They are a heavy technical band that have that melodic thing going on. Their recent full length (released on November 2), Ravenna, has just landed in my lap. and i'm glad it did. and to all of those that say Canada can't produce anything good, well.. this band are pretty good at proving you wrong.
Travis (http://www.travisonline.com/) - because they are the mother fucking best chill band ever ever ever ever ever ever..and ever. and they get way not enough love. and i love them. and ugh... if you like brit bands and you think coldplay are good, well christ, this band will make you rub vomit all over your chest.
Cartel (http://www.purevolume.com/cartel) - they make me giddy as a ticklish school girl high on pixie sticks. yea, you know what i'm talking about. i recommended them last week, but i want to reemphasize how much i like them, and thats primarily because i have a handful of friends that disagree. well f them, cartel are owning me. great tunes for summer driving, so i can't wait till next summer.
Better Luck Next Year (http://www.purevolume.com/betterlucknextyear) - when all else fails, I recommend BLNY. if you are a fan of Over It's "Timing Is Everything", take a peak at this record, it grows on ya like warts, cept in an unugly manner. it's just a good punkish time on this disc. high five for them from me.
Farewell (http://www.purevolume.com/farewell) - I literally just checked this band out minutes ago. And they bring the rock. they get chris march high fives as well.
