I was quite bored and decided to read ALL of the album/ep reviews
that was in the recent 'A Law of Inertia' magzine, and i notcied that around half of the reviews were negative for example:

"Farwell My Enemy: Cast For Funerals
what a clever ploy to get me to listen to this. Disguise the record as an old school hardcore full length, complete with a tough guy band name........etc............I was shocked to hear what came out of the speakers.......Under normal circumstances a band like this would never be picked up by a label.............but for most of you this will be found in every used bin across the dcountry"

"From First to Last: DDMTAHABC
this album is so overwhelmingly cliched with it's pop punk/emo delivery that you forgot to notice how convincingly bad they really are......Maybe if Sonny stayed at rehersal instead of hanging out with you at the mall, he'd be in a better band. i Hope you're happy Emily"

I know that if a cd is crap then obviously its going to have a bad reveiw , but with half the things the reviews say, it seems they are taking they're anger about how the 'old school' hardcore scene is gone ...etc..
did anyone else read this?

i believe that really the person who has reviewd the cd's has no life, if all that the person could say about the cd's was negative stuff whats the point. I think the issue with most older not old but older hardcore fans believe that the harcore fans of today have changed i think that harcore hasn't really ghange its just progressed from what it used to be, i say eveloution is normal its going to happen just like what has happend to the punk scene, we now have mest and good charlote, but if i have read one thing this year that has realy stuck out its a quote from Mr Tim Armstrong of Rancid fame

" Im going to embrace the Motherfuckers just like the clash did to us"

There is always going to be new bands

i like the from first to last review, lol. and reviews nowa days i think are more negative than they used to be, the reason being that "their music" is getting popular and little kids are listening to it now so its not cool anymore. you have to bash it to be cool.

Goddamn you! I was hoping this would be one of the first "Science" topics, where we'd all shared our views on the Law of Inertia.

Anyways one time I was skating really fast down a hill, then I hit a rock and totally went flying, it really hurt and I broke both my legs, both my arms and my xiphoid process.
