Did you watch one of the first ones or one of the later direct to DVD sequels?
Also, the original is getting remade. Kinda pisses me off.

The first one is awesome. A remake will suck.

I've never seen any of them, however, I have the soundtrack's for the first two films, which are incredible, and Hellraiser II probably is one of my fav film scores, at least the themes anyways, the scores are big and epic, and far too good for those movies. It's funny cause the score for Hellraiser II musically is far more along the lines of Lord of the Rings or some huge fantasy epic.
Here's the first part of the theme

You have to wonder if Clive Barker had some genuine homicidal and sadistic thoughts that he decided to write out in a screenplay when he came up with this movie.

Or when he wrote Midnight Meat Train...

I have seen everyone and while I think Pinhead is somewhat cool,I also think at the same time he was lazy since he had the Cenobites do all his work and was so slow with everything, the straight to video sequels got cheesier and cheesier, thankfully after the 3rd one Clive Barker had no say so in them.

I honestly haven't seen anything after the third one. The just look really terrible beyond that point. Most of the direct to DVD ones were actually scripts that originally had nothing to do with Pinhead, but they decided to put the character in the movie in hopes it would make some cash.
Or when he wrote Midnight Meat Train...
haha i thought that was the catchiest horror title ever.

So Clive Barker was supposed to be writing the final chapter of the Hellraiser movie series (because he hadn't liked any of the previous ones, sans the 2 he did and Hellseeker). The movie, which he's directing, also, was going to be more like the book, with less focus on the cenobites. Yet everything has changed and it'll be just another piece of garbage heaped on top of the last 2. I was hoping for one last, decent Hellraiser movie. I don't see it happening now.

So it'll just be another shock/horror title I guess.
