it's opening a door to a dark empty room
the sun has set outside, so it's darkened too
my thoughts start to fade away
i think i started losing track of my mind awhile back
it feels a bit hollow, left with some space
and these lonely moments they never get chases
but they will, i promise they will
as long as i still remember them...
once out in the world there things start to grey
so you wouldn't notice the mistakes i've made
but i've had my share of moments i'm no stranger all the same
i an promise to notice again
and i will i know that i will
and so i will, remember them still
though i hope they erase even from my brain
nothing stays the same
i won't let it again, i promise i can
note: i haven't posted here in such a long time. this summer has been a bunch of writing blocks for me. i did write some okay/good songs before this but this is the actually breaking of the song writers block.
