I'm looking for sad, emo Country songs. No punk or rock, straight country. So far i know i gotta have "momma, don't let your babys grow up to be cowboys" and "i love a rainy night". any others i should have? preferably something easy to find on kazaa lite or someshit. peace out.

bowl of oranges and method acting, definetly
but i am completely new to this style of music, country-influenced emo, so the only thing i can think of is...
yellowcard - view from heaven
i know i am scraping the bottom of the barrel with that next to bright eyes but i got nothing else

Do you want *actual* country songs, or country-influenced songs?
If you want actual country, Dixie Chicks - Travelling Soldier is so emo, it hurts. Anything by Adam Gregory is good too.

The new song "Lua" would be good too. "True Blue" also has a country feel to it.

sun kil moon (correct spelling) rocks. get it ASAP.
as for country....you want a sad country song, its gotta be "The thunder rolls" By Garth
if you want sad as in pathetically shitty check out the 4 minute disaster called "The Angry American" by the fat piece of shit Toby Keith
ok, so i dont really like much country either, but my little brother loves them. And everytime he comes over to my place he will somehow slip in some of his country cds..but there is one song that is straight up country and emo...the Brad Paisley/forgot her name song called Whiskey Lullaby. I will admit, I kinda like it.
