She is as valid as Ralph Nader.

i'll be voting for her.

i would vote for her, but im already voting for ralph nader

why vote for nader? a third party candidate is not going to win the election, but a green party candidate picking up 5% of the vote would be a big boost to the progressive movement in america.

It's a waste of a vote -- plain and simple. It's like putting a wager on a college football team that finished 108th out of 111th to win the National Championship the next year. Yeah, all the records are 0-0 at the beginning of the year, but let's think about things realistically.

Depending where you live - it's as good as a vote for McCain.

I figure McCain is going to win Georgia easily.

Oh, so this vote will be good for that vote 95 years later when Greens matter? Only, they won't, because the GOP have been in power for a good 85 years, and forced you to have voted for them after they slowly suck away all your civil liberties.

But vote for that future, it sure is bright!

I'm sorry, I don't mean to come off as a dick, but there is too much at stake for this country in this election that we can think about bringing in 3rd parties. Like I said, look at things realistically.

Okay. Realistically, it doesn't matter if a Democrat or Republican gets put in office because their agendas are quite similar. We will go to war with Iran. Oil prices will continue to rise. Our national debt will continue to grow greater and greater. Our constitutional rights as people will continue to become irrelevant.

So really, it doesn't matter at all who wins in November. Because the resulting outcomes are going to change this country forever.

1) I disagree with Iran. I don't think you see a war with Iran if Obama is elected.

2) At least alt. energy R&D will be put into high priority.

3) That's yet to be seen.

4) More scrutiny will be placed to the Patriot Act with a Democratic leader and majority Democratic congress.

You put too much stock in "things being fucked." Anyone who takes Obama's promises at face value or as if they are going to happen overnight are completely mistaken. However, it is a huge first step into making sure things do change, instead of things spiraling out of control under a continuing GOP regime.

if you really think Barack Obama doesn't support a progressive agenda you need to get your head out of your ass. His Presidency has motivated more people to move left of center since McGovern.

He's in full support of the Patriot Act (he voted for it) and has no intention in getting rid of it. America might not directly go to war with Iran with Obama in office but he'll sure as hell give Israel all the weapons it needs to get the job done. The national debt is climbing to ten trillion dollars (http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/) and just continues to grow. That concerns me because I'm 22. I don't want that debt to get any bigger or have it left for my generation to deal with after the guys who caused it are long dead.

I don't support the Democratic or Republican party at all. They both have failed this country's citizens.

We'll just have to see what happens next year now won't we?
