I am the manager for an established full time national touring band,
who is currently looking for a new drummer and second guitarist/back up vocalist.
Before I get into the history of the band, I want to point out that they need to fill the spots ASAP.
They leave on tour in October for a 2 month tour that will be hitting the mid-west,east coast,and parts of the south.
The tour is fully contracted and is being booked by Angie Dunn (formally of Lucky Artist Booking)
In January they are recording with Producer/HIPV Guitarist, Rob Freeman in New Jersey.
Rob as most of you know, just produced the new Hit The Lights Record.
As soon as the new stuff comes out, we will be pushing the band non stop for the whole year of 2009.
The band will be picking up a full time booking agent,and will be on tour 6 -8 months out of the year with national bands,
supporting pretty well sized packaged tours, hitting very good markets.
As we are in talks with a few labels right now, we do plan to find them a huge indie or Major label by the middle of 2009 for sure.
The band has been around since 2002 touring non stop since day one.
After being a band for only a year,
in 2003 they found them selves on tour with national bands such as:
Midtown, The Movie Life, Hit the Lights, A Static Lullaby,
along with playing the Van's Warped Tour & FLIPSIDE FESTIVAL 2006 with:
Relient K, Motion City Soundtrack, Sugarcult, Mae, Hidden in Plain View, Over It, The Spill Canvas, Valencia, and more.
In 2004, they signed to I Surrender Records and released an acoustic EP
[voted best acoustic album by absolutepunk.net, featured on mtv/mtv2's advanced warning]
In 2006 they came out with their first full length,
which was produced and recorded by the legendary Matt Squire
(Panic at the Disco, Cute is What We Aim For, Hit the Lights)
[Voted one of the 10 best unsigned bands in the usa by alternative press magazine in January
2006]
