That was pretty funny though New York was actually mostly Loyalist during the Revolution though there were major spy rings all around in New York City and on Long Island. Basically Long Island was the majority Loyalist because they feared the British Navy from surrounding the Island and destroying it. New York didn't even sign the Declaration of Independence till July 6th when it thought it could miss out. Though you should not blame the New Yorkers, it was risky business especially for New York to rebel. Ok, times up, Class dismissed.
