Here is a message from Clark who put on the Recover (http://www.killrecover.com/) show in New Brunswick last night:

"I would like to personally apologize to everyone that did not make it out to last night's Recover show in New Brunswick because of misconceptions regarding cd purchases. I, along with Matt (Recover's Tour Manager) set this show up from the beginning and not long after everything was finalized, Genco Records decided to take the show on as their own. Pawning our (kick over the traces) cds off as "entry" to this show was not what I or Recover wanted and I in no way support what was done. Basically, I would like to personally apologize to anyone that was left out of this show. The boys of Recover have already talked of how they would like to possibly do another show similar to this if circumstances permit, and if one does happen, you can be sure that it will be posted on Absolute Punk for all you to see."

someone from genco records started some nonsense online that if you wanted to "definetly get in" at the show, you had to buy a cd from one of thier bands or something. dumb.

i think it was actually that genco records was trying to hide the location of the show and they said if you bought a royden or kick over the traces cd they would tell you where it was at. it was a cheesy thing to do, but it didn't keep people from finding out where the show was.

yeah for sure. and last time i checked post break tragedy was pretty sick too.
