Marketing/psychology major

In my Junior year (high school), my major decision is approaching and I am looking into Marketing and psychology. Completely different, I know. I like the idea of marketing because it gives me more options, unlike psychology.

Any marketing/psychology majors that would like to discuss?

i <3 psychology.
my favorite class so far has been "personality psychology"- just fascinating stuff
i've heard a lot of people say that psych is just common sense info, and some of it is
that being said, my cognitive psych class is a killer,
and once you get past general, it's not just fluff material.

i'm in my 3rd year too, but i've been taking classes for the past two years

I didnt decide on a major until the end of my sophomore year.

I'm a Human Development & Family Studies major (which is pretty similar to psych). I can't speak for Marketing, but if you don't want to go to grad school, don't do Psych. You will definitely need to go to grad school to make any money. It is fascinating though.

Anyway, I'm a psychology major. Planning on either going to law school or getting a doctorate in cognitive psychology. Unfortunately, I just started college so I can't offer much help.

I'm taking a sociology course (related to psych) and I find 1) very intensive thinking and 2) very interesting.
