Lo-Fi Café’s Whats-a-happenin’ for the weekend Newsletter
Holy CRAP! Rise Against on Wednesday Night was an AWESOME show! Liars Academy and Action Action were sooooo much fun. Thanks to everyone for coming to the show and we may have a surprise for you on a future date with them next year so stay tuned for that news! In the meantime be sure to call Todd Nukem in the afternoons and request their newly released single “Give It All”.
This weekend is going to be just as fun. The Lo-Fi Local All Stars winner circle featuring All Star Winners for 2004 Occidis will be a great show. They got to build this entire thing for pre-selling the most tickets to a show, (144) during the Local All Star shows.
Andy Patterson’s Studio Relief Show is an important event. Unless you are inflicted by the 12 plagues of Egypt you should be at this show to show your support to a man who has truly earned our thanks and respect throughout the local music scene and the Salt Lake community.

The Lo-Fi Café Local All-Stars competition was set up this year to see how many tickets a band could sell and each band had a month to do it. The deal is the band with the most tickets sold during the contest will get to have their own special show at the end of it all on a Friday or Saturday and they will get to invite whoever they want up to 3 other bands to have a show and keep all the cash at the end of the night of what they make in gross ticket sales.
If you are interested in competing in The Lo-Fi Café Local All Stars contest for 2005 send us an email to booking@front9productions.com and tell us about yourself and your band. We will start doing the contest in late winter early spring and it will run through Aug/Sept. Send us an email and we will give you more info on the rules of the contest ok?

Here are some quick parking tips. Don’t EVER pay to park man! Come at doors at park on the south side of the Salt Palace, the south side of Crossroads Mall, or better yet just go park at Crossroads Mall and after 11pm the parking is free. Free Parking on Sundays at Crossroads as well. Don’t ever park in the $5 parking next to Lo-Fi they are a bunch of jerks! Oh ya, there is also the parking place south of Lo-Fi which is only $3 sometimes.
