Am I the only one who missed this bit of info:
Shorebirds (http://www.punknews.org/bands/shorebirds) has broken up. The band, which featured Matt Canino, of Latterman (http://www.punknews.org/bands/latterman) and Jawbreaker (http://www.punknews.org/bands/jawbreaker) alum Chris Bauermeister, received considerable acclaim for their debut Self Titled 7" (http://www.punknews.org/review/6855).
The announcement came via the label Matt co-runs:
Shorebirds broke up. It was just time for it to not be a band anymore. However, we are still releasing the LP, which is now all finished up. It will be available as soon as it is done being pressed and such. As reported earlier (http://www.punknews.org/article/29039), the album will be pressed on vinyl and CD but no digital release is planned.
