well it's hard when they probably have an average of about 100 IMs and people trying to have conversations with them every time they get on.

i know hidden in plain view at least used to have them on there, and they would talk. motion city soundtrack would too. when brand new had it on their they would rarely talk but would always email you back

my goodness, chris from hipv talked so much. after they signed to drive thru it's like he acted like he didn't know who i was and responded.. well, never.

i'm not a kid that's like "omgz kris i luv ur band dewd!", i always talked with him daily just to see what's up, but daily turned to never.

before they got known, they actually talked. now they're too cool i think.

do you have any idea how many IMs they get? right when they sign on, they're like bombarded with 14 year old girls telling them how much they want to make out with them. it would be a bitch to respond to them all.

ian from nfg and i totally had a 5 line conversation...it was awesome. but yeah, they might talk for a minute.

haha well these arent their primary screen names.. haha at least not randys. so its probably just to go on sometimes to chat with fans. if they are busy thye will probably just go on their regular names

Probably because the second they sign online, they get literally 180+ IMs within 2 minutes of signing on. No joke. So you can bet it's kind of hard to talk to someone when your computer is freezing everytime you sign on.

He didn't have to talk to you at all back then but they're great guys and they'll do that. It's just way too impossible to continue doing that. No need to take that as a personal insult. It's just what happens when your fanbase grows. There's no possible way they could be able to have full indepth conversations with every single person that IMed them. Nevermind actually remember who each screen name was. I can barely remember all the people that IM me! And I don't get nearly as many IMs.

and I'm going to go ahead and assume the same applies for Hellogoodbye as well.

Chris hipv is always nice to me whenever I IM him. He always say hi and a how are you whenever someone IM him. After a five line chat or so, he'd say 'sorry' and tells me that he got so many IMs and then say his goodbye.
At least it's polite.

Exactly.
The HIPV guys are always nice when people IM them.
You just have to understand that they're getting a TON of IMs and it's tough to have long conversations with everyone at once.

two people are about to find out exactly how many people in the world have computers. sucks to be them.

a lot of people in bands post screennames, usually they post a fake band one they never use like hpivname or whatever. i talked to ian from nfg for a while, if you have something to talk about they'll have a conversation but they arent there to be your friend and have the same "hey, whats up, not much, you? not much" convo everyday.

HIPV are the coolest guys ever, anytime i see them at a show or something they're always like whats up and stuff like that...they are cool guys.

The guys in Hipv are never online.but spencer chris and mike always spoke to me.

some of senses fail still talks.adelphi and socratic well varied members they chat away

chris from hipv is one cool dude. we've had plenty of chats before and he's super nice. he's even IMed me a couple times and asked if i could burn him some cds to take to the show. the rest of the guys are awesome too.
