I wasn't expecting much going into this show, because I've heard bad things about Bullet's live show, and I wasn't a fan of the other two. Black Tide wasn't bad, but I'm still not sold on them. Bleeding Through was the big surprise. They were very intense and very energetic. The pit was insane.
As for BFMV, they caught me off guard with the first few songs, because they sounded great. They were very into it and everything sounded clean and accurate. But about half way through the set, once they played Say Goodnight, they lost all of their momentum and never picked it back up until they played Hearts Burst Into Fire, which was obviously a crowd pleaser. Here is the set list, I think it's correct.
Scream Aim Fire
Disappear
4 Words
Tears Don’t Fall
Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow
Say Goodnight
Take It Out On Me
Eye Of The Storm
All These Things I Hate
Spit You Out
Deliver Us From Evil
Hand Of Blood

Hearts Burst Into Fire
Waking The Demon

I'm going to see this show this weekend in Atlanta, I am pretty excited for it, huge Bleeding Through fan, they always put on an intense show. Their pits are always fun. You didn't happen to get a set list for them did you? (or remember a few songs). I wish Cancer Bats were still on this tour, they are so much better then the Black Tide.
I will post a set list for Bleeding Through this weekend, I probably won't even stick around for Bullet for my Valentine though (they are like a very bad ripoff of Bleeding Through imo)

I don't know Bleeding Through's stuff that well, but yes. It was a very intense pit.
BFMV was much better than I thought they'd be.

Just got back from this show in Atlanta, Bleeding Through played a really amazing set. I have seen them a bunch of times but their vocalist Brandan Shipietti has never sounded better. If you have listened to the new record you will hear a change in his vocals, they are so much more intense (and thats saying something if you have listened to their older stuff). They sounded really great, usually the sound at the Tabernacle (where they played) is hit or miss so I wasn't expecting it to sound too good but it was perfect. The pit was really fun. It started out with the traditional metal mosh kids vs hardcore dancing kids dillema but eventually the metal kids tired out which allowed more room for the hardcore kids to do what they want. Still there were a lot of assholes, me and my friends got into a few fights, there were punches, headlocks, etc. Some people just can't handle hardcore dancing and hate it with a passion and deliberately tries to hurt anyone that does it which is pretty annoying but I was expecting this going into the show and it wasn't too bad. Security was pretty bad though too, they couldn't handle me crowdsurfing at all but I just kept doing it. I had a blast, but I just wish the show just wasn't so expensive, $30 just to see Bleeding Through is a little much but they always make it worth the price, definitely go see them when you have the chance they deserve it. Here are the songs that they played mostly in order:
For Love and Failing
Tragedy of Empty Streets
Love In Slow Motion
Love Lost in A Hail of Gunfire
Orange County Blonde and Blue (New Song)
Revenge I Seek
Reborn From Isolation (New Song, sounded amazing, one of the best songs on the new album, I'm so glad they played it)
Kill To Believe
It was a really strong set for the time they had they played a lot of hits. I was really surprised that they didn't play On Wings of Lead though, that has been a staple in the set list for years, I'm not too dissapointed because in my opinion it isn't one of their strongest songs but it was just kinda wierd.
For Bleeding Through fans: I talked to the merch guy who was really nice and we just chilled for a while but apparently Bleeding Through will be coming back on their own headlining tour with the Acacia Strain, As Blood Runs Black, and Becoming the Archetype, I'm pretty excited for that, they look forward to playing small clubs with low ticket prices and affordable merch (apparently Bullet for my Valentine forces the other band to raise their prices of merch to $30 for t shirts so they don't compete for sales, I thought that was fucked up).
I didn't pay attention to the Black Tide, Bullet for my Valentine wasn't as bad as I was expecting but I didn't enjoy them too much, just not my type of music. You can't exactly watch a band as intense as Bleeding Through and then watch Bullet for my Valentine, it doesnt feel right.

That upcoming headlining tour is going to be awesome. I've been wanting to see Becoming The Archetype for so long.
