wandstedt should have been fired after the last game they played in 2002 against the pats, he's one of the worst coaches i've seen in a while.

It might take more than a few years to build up a great team, because you need about 9 players on offense to get there. The defense is fine. Keep Chambers and McMichael, and get some other guys for the offense.

Zach Thomas deserves just as much respect as Ray Lewis does at the MLB position.

I have been a Dolphins fan for 10 + years. I love my Dolphins and i love this thread. This is what i have to say. FUCK Wannstedt!!! Everyone says "well he can't be that bad of a couch because he's had a winning record for so many years." Could these people not realize that they had a winning record because they had a great team. They could have gone far in the playoffs last year and the year before with a better coach. They have an incredible defense and they had the best running back in the league. The only thing that would have hurt them from going all the way to the super bowl and winning was the fact that they don't have a quarterback that can throw worth shit. Have you seen Fiedler try and go down field it's horrible. If they bulk up in the offseason and get a good running back and maybe a worth while QB they could make the playoffs next year. All we can take from this season is the fact that we will get a great draft pick. Don't fool yourself into thinking Ricky will be back in a Dolphins jersey next year either because it won't happen. The team now pretty much hates Ricky for what he did to this team. Expect Ricky to be playing for Oakland next year. That's my prediction anyways.

I think Ricky will end up as a free agent in 2006, and he'll play the bench for the dolphins next year because he still has a contract to us, unless he wants to pay his way out of that contract. I think we need a good o-line before a running back and quarter back. Our o line is just killing us, our half backs aren't all that bad, infact they;re getting pretty good yards for what the o line is allowing them to get. i think along with wandstedt feeley and fiedler should leave, and we should start playing sage, becaus ein the pre-season he was putting up some o.k. numbers, better that what feeley and fiedler are putting up this year. I also believe we need to maintain the work on our defense, because if we focus all of our time and energy into the offense, the next thing we know, all of our defense is too old, and are retiring from the sport. Our wide outs are perfect, they just dont get enough use because our quarter back FUCKING sucks a big one. Well thats that for now

You need a young QB next year, and try to get a decent back. The D is pretty good, and with Chambers, McMichael, Booker, and Boston next year, the receiving corps is pretty solid. With a couple good drafts, they'll be pretty good in '06.
Brees next year would be a great pickup.

Yeah we do need to start thinking about our D because Thomas, Surtain, Madison, Knight and a few others aren't getting any younger. We shouldn't of gotten rid of Ogunleye he would have become an incredible asset for years to come. I also agree with you on the O line we need to get that shit fixed. Even if Ricky played this year i don't even know if he would have ran for 1000 yards. Well probably but it would have been difficult, our o line blows.

i wish someone would have told us about wandstedt. but anywho
miami is nationally famous. what have the bears done?
Seriously, this is one of the worst overall teams I have seen in a while. Specifically offensively. Whose idea was it to trade for the "savior" A.J. Feeley?

Whatever happened to Griese, why didn't they stick with him?

Wannstedt probably thought he sucked. But really it was the horrible offensive line not giving him any protection whatsoever. Oh well he's playing pretty good for Tampa Bay right now.

Griese really is not that good of a QB. He couldn't cut it in Denver, Miami, and he's having slight success with Tampa Bay right now.

That's going to be the worst game ever. And I think people generally see Miami as the worst team in the NFL this season. I disagree, I say 49ers are the worst. They lost their WR, QB, and RB. They had a horrible draft, and a bunch of injuries. They've been blown away and shutout this year. Miami's actually come close in a few of their games, and they have a solid defense.

Zach Thomas is so underrated. I love the Dolphins, I have been a fan since I was born. Well not really, but my entire family has always liked them. Now they like the Eagles, sell outs.

As Dolphin fans we can just look forward to next year and hopefully a good draft pick. We haven't had a very high pick in awhile. It should make it an interesting of season.
