i am almost positive this is true..

well...

they are changing there name...

december is the last time they will play as noise ratchet, and play noise ratchet songs.

yes, it's true. I was at the Anadivine, Acceptance & Dead Poetic show this past Friday @ Ground Zero in San Diego. They announced Noise Ratchet was breaking up right after Anadivine's set.

Here's one of the bulletins Ground Zero posted on myspace.com:

"SATURDAY DEC 11TH (LAST NOISE RATCHET SHOW EVER!)
NOISE RATCHET IS BREAKING UP! The band will perform ALL of the “WHY WE CRY” EP live, as well as many older Noise Ratchet favorites. This show WILL sellout. Presale is available at the venue on nights of shows. "
