Please list any Beatle covers you know. They don't have to be punk or emo..

My favorite of all time is "Imagine" by A Perfect Circle. They keep to the original song, yet they make it their own. It's a very beautiful and haunting song.

I hope no one does, the Beatles are the best at what they do, others....not. It would just rape the song. Sorry I like the Beatles too much to be into Emo covers of their songs.

I can't really name any off the top of my head but I think it would be really interesting if Iron and Wine cover Blackbird since they only use acoustic and it probably wouldn't be that far off from the original.

I know Elliott Smith's done live covers of For No One, I'm So Tired, and Yer Blues

You can stream those here (http://www.sweetadeline.net/multimedia.html)

Something by a local band Superstitions of the Sky. It's pretty good.

The Vines did a superb cover of "I'm Only Sleeping", and the entire "I Am Sam" soundtrack is Beatles covers.

I almost cried watching that movie, and I never cry.

My Music Tech group covered Yesterday, and made it a little more pop-punky. I know, that doesn't really count. The other group covered Let It Be, and made it sound similar to Straylight

You broke one of the cardinal rules of mixes: no multiple songs by an artist.

Oh yeah, It's all about the "scene". Actually, no, it's not. Plus I can guess that any Thrice cover of The Beatles would suck complete ass beyond recognition.

JBT covered 'Across The Universe'. I love JBT but can't say I thought much of the cover. Not the Beatles best song though. Plus John can't sing well enough to cover it. And technically Imagine isn't a Beatles song. John Lennon wrote it after The Beatles broke up. When he hated Paul McCartney.
