Well, apparently some American has discovered Atlantis. While most researchers believed it was in the Atlantic Ocean (check the name), he was convinced it was in the Mediterranean Sea, and his sonar proved that there are definite walls that match Plato's writings on the city. I'm still a little skeptical. I'd like to see a dive team recover what they can before any real claims are made. Thoughts?

I'd rather know where Atlanta went. Ted Turner where have you gone?

i don't remember many times people have supported, with evidence, claims that they "found atlantis".
i watched the news documentary on this and it does appear that this guy has a very good idea. we'll see in the coming weeks i assume.
I want to live there... if it wasn't under water, unless I had working gils.
haha, me too. Now would probably be a better time to buy property thou,....hmmm

I remember they talked about Atlantis in some history video.
I don't remember exactly, but there's an ancient land that they believe may be Atlantis because it fits descriptions given by Plato and many others.
Either way, I've always loved the story of Atlantis.

Didnt they think Atlantis was a part of Ireland at one time?
Uhh, haven't they already proved Nessie exists? I mean, come on, you've seen the picture:

It'd make sense. The designer of the Titanic (Thomas Andrews) was Irish. I'm supposedly related to him. We Irish are apparently good at sinking things, but a whole continent? That's an accomplishment.

I've never heard that, but it's possible.

Unless they found tons of empty bottles and cans of liquor at the site, it probably was never part of Ireland.
