Has anyone seen this. Just sent it back to Netflix and I gotta say it was one of the most disturbing, yet compelling movies I've ever seen.

I liked it, but didn't love it. I didn't feel like there was really an over-arching theme or narrative; kinda just seemed like a bunch of individual stories put on film.

i saw it last year and i almost felt sick after watching it.
it's pretty horrifying to catch that stuff on film. the scene where the man with the camera literally grabs the girl by the shirt to save her blew my mind
probably not something i could watch again.

Probably couldn't watch this in the first place. But it's cool something like this was made.

Saw this at the Tribeca Film Festival a couple years back. It truly is amazing.

Eh, I love documentaries, but I found this very slow and boring. Decent at best.

Great idea for a film and such an interesting topic, but I felt like it was just the same exact story told over and over by different people. Pretty boring when it had the potential to be something great.

Saw this last night, I'm really late I know. Still kinda creeped out by it.
Anyone know of any similar creepy documentaries?

I really liked it, but couldn't help but think they over-egged it. I think it would have been more effective if it focused on less people

Me too.
The family members seemed so nonchalant. It was strange.

Not off the top of my head, but what exactly would be "similar" to you? Other documentaries about people committing suicide, or what?

Hmm...eerie docs. You ever watch Dear Zachary? That's pretty fucked up. A really good documentary if you haven't seen it already.

Yep definitely. Actually there is probably at least 1 or 2 threads just for documentaries. It may be worth it to skim those.
edit: PS, if you check out dear zachary (which you should) I wouldn't read anything about it beforehand. There are spoilers all over the internet that you really should avoid if you want to watch it. I'd say watch the trailer at the most.
