The Glass Passenger, even though it's my 2nd favorite album of the year. It's in no way a horrible album, dont get me wrong. I was just hoping it would be a little...more. Especially after waiting 2 years.

I HATED In Defense when I first heard it,
I literally thought it was awful, but someone told me to listen to it a few times before I discarded it as a failed follow up album, and seriously, it's grown on me, absolutely love it. Just like I hated Devil and God when it first came out, now it's one of my favourite albums of all time.

I'm going to be attacked by the matching avatar people but I reckon Lost In The Sound of Separation was pretty disappointing.
And Bone Pallace Ballet, it's okay, just not amazing. Oh and I agree with whoever said Coldplay's new album. Don't know what all the hype is about. OH and Hit The Lights, all sounds the same.
I'VE THOUGHT OF LOADS NOW. And Panic! At The Disco. The old one was catchy, new one's just weird/shit.

This year, I'd say the MGMT album was my biggest disappointment. I heard "Time To Pretend" "Electric Feel" and "Kids" and I thought for sure it would be amazing, but not much else on the album was able to grab me like those three tracks did.

Ehh, I gave it a fair shot, but I guess my expectations were just too high after Is A Real Boy. It's by no means a bad album, and I think if it was a band's debut album I would love it, but I was expecting something truly classic.
I loved What It Is To Burn; it was the album thatt got me into good music. And SHTS was terribly disappointing.

Oh come on, They're Only Chasing Safety is amazing, All's Well That Ends Well was a class album, some great tracks on that, Coldplay, meh, kinda agree with you on that.
Hit The Lights had a good debut, and Panic's debut, although most people hated it openly, I'm sure they can't deny it was catchy and had a couple of good ones on it.
Why were you dissapointed? They've always been bad (with Spencer).
Haha, why does everyone hate them so much? They were good, I just think they've got worse.

Yeah they definitely have something going on. I just personally think they should stick with the more groove oriented stuff and ditch the second rate Flaming Lips act.

That bassline is just sick. I hate dancing, but it makes me wanna shake my ass.
Oh, and definitely check out the Lips. The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots are both amazing, the rest of their stuff is pretty good too. They do kinda what MGMT tries to do with their more psychadelic sounding stuff, except they do it right.

I don't like it when people say stuff like that haha, no offence,

I like a few of their songs, I'll still like them if I hear something better.

I'm not defending them, but I think if you're classifying them as an "electronic act" then you haven't really given them a good enough listen. Which is essentially my whole complaint. If they stuck with the electronic stuff and the songs with the big heavy grooves, I'd really like them. But they try on so many different styles, and fail miserably at most of them.

I have another one: Last Stop: Crappytown - Reggie and the Full Effect was well, not that crappy but I was very disappointed. Had high hopes, but it was overall mediocre at best. I think even James doesn't like it too much, at the show just this Sunday he only played 2 songs off that record.
