My band wants to plan a Sping/Summer tour. I'm pretty much left with the duties to do everything haha. I've never done anything like this before. I don't even know where to start. Anyone want give me some pointers here that don't involves the word "stfu and leave"? haha

search thru purevolume for local bands with similar sounds and email them telling them a date your projecting to be there. tell them you can hook them up with a show in your hometown, and if they cant help you, ask if they can get you in touch with someone who can, or point you in the right direction.

good plan. its just kind of hard to find someone with a similar sound but our fan base is in the screamo/indie/emo area. its kind of hit or miss. not too many people are into acoustic rock. i'll try your idea along with contacting people i already know. thanks a lot man.
