So i attended the armor for sleep show last night. The Snake The Cross The Crown was suppose to open, but are apparently stuck in Georga or something due to van trouble, so that was a let down. The first band was Shanghi Valentine or something like that, and they were pretty bad. I could see them fittting in on a more "punk" show rather than this one. The next band was Number One Fan, they were really good. The did a cover of "Fake Plastic Trees" by radiohead, it was pretty good i thought. Overall they were good and seemed like they knew what they were doing. Last was Armor For Sleep. They stole the show by far. They opened with the song "Being Your Walls" which is one of my least favorite songs on the cd, but after watching it's in my top 4. After a set of pretty much their all first cd and one new song ("Car Underwater"), they "closed" with "Dream To Make Believe". Everyone got really into it and it was the perfect way to end a show. After chanting "one more song" for a bit, they came back out and played "Phantoms Now". Then it was over. Good show.
