Let's talk about this fantastic band. Just pulled In Place Apart out and am remembering how great it is. Fractures is one of the year's best, Discuss.

it was boring besides for resolution...did they get a new singer? because it sure sounds like it.

In Place, Apart is one of my favorite hardcore albums. I also enjoy Fractures and Killing The Dream - haven't really listened to the I Rewrote It (EP) much, is it good?

I don't think so, I think they just didn't use as raw a sound or something to that effect.

I haven't heard the EP but have only heard good things, I should download it...

I can't access the proxy sites now. can you zip all the stuff on the Manchester Orc. and Margot myspaces please?

Praetor

I can access proxies but file2hd will not work for me anymore. I can get you that stuff, though, as I already ripped the Margot stuff and Josh (lifesaver) ripped the Man Orc.

I can also include the KTD EP if you want.

When it comes to this band (and I really don't often find this true) the older the better. I enjoy bits and pieces of Fractures but it feels like In Place, Apart light. I also probably prefer the S/T to IP,A.

I just got into this band a few months ago, I downloaded the self titled cd, i rewrote it, and fractures and I really like some of it. They aren't my favorite hardcore band at all but a few of their songs are really great, but to me their cd's as a whole have a lot of filler. But it sounds like I need to get In Place, Apart so I will check that one out.

I just think a lot of the poppier parts don't mix well with the abrasive stuff (which I think they're a lot better at playing). I like the songs that are intense straight through.

I love S/T and In Place, Apart. Fractures is not a let down, just not as good...this band still abuses harmonics though. When I saw them in Richmond in about 2005ish, I think...there was only like 30 people there, but it was still fun. They were getting shot with air soft guns by Down To Nothing.

Yeah I hate it when hardcore bands sound angry.

I know you were probably being sarcastic, but this is pretty true to me.

I hate that fucking cross over trendy fad shit that has been the cool thing to make in hardcore the last couple years.

Whatever fucking cross over type garbage you can make and press on vinyl kids eat him. Awesome that it makes them decent money for such a lesser popular/non mainstream style of tunes, but I don't know, it gets repetitive.

I enjoy that Trash/Grind/Metal influenced stuff that you can just consider heavy music by todays standards. I like that shit to be angry, hell I think I even enjoy that whole angry skramz/Isis/His Hero is Gone movement bands are taking also. That stuff is pretty emotional to the angry side.

I a hardcore style of a positive message but my still heavy, not so much STRAIGHT EDGE RAH RAH STRAIGHT EDGE. But more so preaching about life, friends, not looking back, personalities, change, etc etc. A looking forward type ideal. Hardcore bands that do that whole, fight, cuss, fight, cuss, sex, weed, fight, cuss, breakdown, mosh, 40 second song, trendy vinyl press... that shit sucks man.
