in your opinion. and i guess if you limit yourself it could be fun... but when you cant remember what you did and you start doing things you will regret its bad. or when someone gets real sick, and you have to take care of them, cause they chugged half a fucking bottle of straight rum. or your buddy's so drunk he cant stand up on his own to walk outside to take a piss. luckily ive never been drunk. i never drank that much. now i've stopped. i just dont' see much of a positive effect on me. and even though i wasnt drunk i was really close to doing some things with a girl i know i would have regretted. i dunno that's my view on it...

Drinking is fun, but you have to get a feel for your limits. At this point (about 1.5 years of drinking consistently), I can get nice and drunk, but not out of control, and it's pretty nice. My favorite is cheap vodka chugged straight, with a chaser, because it's always the cheapest way to get drunk.

honestly, if you can't handle yourself when you are drunk then yeah, you shouldn't be fucking drinking, but that's something deeper than the alcohol you're consuming, that's some sort of underlying problem

in america, we're raised around alcohol in the context of a strict drinking age, no tolerance policies, blah blah blah, but in europe, people learn to drink with their families, in a more liberal environment, with a more liberal drinking age.. and there's a smaller incidence of problematic drinking in europe. food for thought.

i very much agree with that. if you aren't supposed to do it, people are just going to want to do it more. hence drinking, or smoking at a young age, and hell even sex. If people say you shouldn't do it, some people will do anything to find a way to do it.

I agree, I've been drinking alchohol since I was five and raised in that enviroment where you can enjoy yourself but not be stupid and drink yourself into oblivion and I've basically built up such a tolerance that I can't even get hammered. Plus in some latin countries they don't even know what a drinking age is and the incidence of drunkeness is at a minimum.

It all depends on how drunk you wanna get, if you play a few games of kings with some beer that'll get you nice and tipsy but still well under control, if you want to go a little farther with things, you take some shots after a few games. MMMMM....mixing....
