Sounds like a very stubborn twat in this interview to me.
Honestly he tries to dodge so much shit in both his interviews and campaign. Does he really think we're fucking retarded?

Yep, and now he says we can't rip on Palin cause it makes us sexist. He also refused to go on Larry King Live after the Campbell Brown/Tucker Bounds interview saying, "After a relentless refusal by certain on-air reporters to come to terms with John McCain's selection of Alaska's sitting governor as our party's nominee for vice president, we decided John McCain's time would be better spent elsewhere."

You're a fucking moron if you are actually serious when you say that.

If you vote for McCain you don't support our veterans (http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/articleid/9559).

And to be honest, calling me Un-American doesn't offend me. With the way the country has gone down the shitter over the past eight years, I'd actually consider it a compliment.

while i was being sarcastic, i completely disagree with your final statement. to be against the current administration is fine, but going to the extent of calling yourself un-american is just ridiculous. we have our ups and downs, but if you want to bail during the low times, go ahead and move out of the country now, regardless of the next president.

The "America: Love it or Leave It" mentality is ridiculous. It is my right as an American to be un-American. I completely agreed with Michelle Obama when she said she was finally proud of America for the first time in her adult life.

But if I had the money, I would leave in a heartbeat. I would love for an Obama administration to change my mind, but if McCain gets it, I'd lose all hope of ever loving this place.

I'm not saying you have to love it, but it is a pretty decent country. you have to at least acknowledge the benefits it gave you compared to other parts of the world.

and come on, "if you had the money?" i've flown to europe for four hundred dollars...so a short trip and enough time to find a job overseas wouldn't cost more than...a few months of savings tops? the true is you're comfortable in your life here and really aren't that adamant about leaving

Um, wow. Way to ASSume!

I am not "comfortable" here. You don't have the slightest clue about my life. I get absolutely no money from any of my family, and almost all of my paycheck goes to gas to get to my job, food, and my cell phone bill. I don't have money to get medications I need, because of the way this country refuses to take care of its citizens. I live with my grandma who hates me and is trying to get me out of her house, even though she knows I can't afford to leave. I have no connections to find a job over there and I obviously can't go over there jobless. "A few months of saving" is really hard when you're barely making enough to make ends meet. It's not as easy as $400 and finding a job. You're a dumbass if you think it is.

Don't tell me what the "true" is when you don't even know me, you fucktarded son of a cunt.

I didn't say that was the ONLY reason. Way to make more assumptions! Would you like me to list every reason?

1) Money
2) No job there
3) No way of finding some place to live once I get there.
4) Even though I'd love to make friends when I get there, I don't have any connections to start out with, which makes going there with no money even more difficult.

Stop making assumptions about my life and go jerk off to the American flag.

while i appreciate you being fiesty with your language it is completely unneccesary. even at minimum wage if your entire paycheck is going to gas, food and a cell phone bill you're doing something wrong. i moved out of my mom's house when i was 15, and yeah i have a lot of medical debt but it's not like you can just go to some other country and they will magically take care of all of you worries. life isn't that easy doll. as far as connections finding jobs overseas, there's a little something called the internet, or saving enough money and just going and have the confidence that you can find a job in the first couple of weeks of arriving.

when i'm sober i would love to help you with this, honestly. i almost moved to japan on a job last year and had everything set. in the meantime i would start searching the web for jobs abroad, internships and checking out messageboards and reading what people say about different programs that are the middleman. once you get to the country and find a "real" job that is hiring, you can promptly go to the closest border and apply for a work visa having already been hired.

For most, it isn't so much that it is hard to move to a place where there are no friends or family, it is leaving behind people you know and already care about. I've met people who do the whole traveling everywhere thing, and for the most part they don't really have a family or any very close friends. I think I heard a sociological theory that people would rather associate with someone they don't like at all than with someone they don't know.
That's all I really have to say on the traveling/moving somewhere issue.
I fucking hate america, but I pretty much hate everywhere, so I'll stay and laugh at it falling. No where really has a type of system I would want to live in, which is why I laugh when people tell me to get the fuck out if I don't love my country. OK - I'll leave, if you give me a place to go. sweeeet. everyone here wants to bitch about the economy like it's some genius concept that we're in a recession-- whether some people want to admit it or not. yes, a lot of towns are run on certain industry jobs that have been completely outsourced or at least cutting jobs by the thousands. But those of us in big cities in states like florida, texa, california or new york... don't pretend like there aren't a ton of minimum wage jobs available to work that can help you save the money to move out of the country if you so desperately pleased-- physical handicaps withholding.

my point being--

vote for obama. if you really care about issues like healthcare and whether it's affordable. if you want someone who understands the economy and the reason it's gone sour (john mccain admits he doesnt, also he doesn't know how to use a computer) if you want someone who has actual plans about american energy production. who wants to provide tax benefits to companie's who employee american's and lead to american energy independence. the truth is, the government can't fix the situation. the only way it can HELP, is to promote american businesses and offer incentives for businesses to lead to more energy efficient vehicles- and to offer incentives for windpower, solar power and other natural gases. we can support offshore drilling in beautiful states or we can confront the real issue like nations such as iran are already doing.

so instead of wishing you can go to a country that "hates americans" and won't hire you (which is a shame because a load of americans work overseas) how about working for a cause to fix your country, make it energy independent, respected around the world and once again restored as the greated nation but not feared because of it.

I don't understand why it's so hard to give a sentence or two about the importance and personal definition of honor, it would have taken him thirty seconds tops. Certainly would have taken less time (and certainly would have made him look better) than having to have the interviewer ask three times.

I don't understand why it's so hard to give a sentence or two about the importance and personal definition of honor, it would have taken him thirty seconds tops. Certainly would have taken less time (and certainly would have made him look better) than having to have the interviewer ask three times.
He probably doesn't even remember, so he doesn't want to contradict himself.

There's a theme that recurs in your books and your speeches, both about putting country first but also about honor. I wonder if you could define honor for us?
Read it in my books.

I've read your books.
No, I'm not going to define it.

But honor in politics?
I defined it in five books. Read my books.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha greatest interview ever.
What a dick.

“We are going to stop sending $700 billion a year to countries that don’t like us very much. We will attack the problem on every front. We will produce more energy at home. We will drill new wells offshore, and we’ll drill them now. We will build more nuclear power plants. We will develop clean coal technology. We will increase the use of wind, tide, solar and natural gas. We will encourage the development and use of flex fuel, hybrid and electric automobiles.” just wow, he is the complete opposite of what the planet needs. He's one of those guys that either doesn't know, or absolutely doesn't care that their "help" is just senseless adding fuel to the fire.

Does anyone else get that Reagenesque feeling from the McCain/Palin campaign that neither of them have any clue what theyre doing? You could totally see this with Reagen, once he wanders off the script prepared for him he sounds like a babbling child, one you kind of pity but don't take seriously at all. They're both commodities. The real danger is the men behind the curtain,
