Facial Hair Connection Fuels Rock Revival?

Hair has been integral to our survival since our earliest tiny mammal
relatives rose up amongst the giant thunder lizards of yore. Samson could
have easily predicted the fall of the once great 70's rock empire when
artists started routinely shaving not only their faces but their legs to
agree with their fishnet stockings. Unwashed and uncut coifs ushered in
guitar music's possibly greatest revival in the early 90's only to be
ritually shaved once again as the forces of military regulation length
nu-metal marched onto the airwaves.

Hope, however, like a 4'o clock shadow, springs eternal from some young
fresh faces on the indie-rock circuit. Hard touring, plant matter eating,
feelings-rockers Jupiter Sunrise (www.jupitersunrise.net) report that their
very own Ben Karis, at age 27, has achieved a connection between his beard
and his mustache. The 26 previous years of beard/stash separation kept the
aspiring musician from growing significant whiskers and finding a place
amongst rock's hairy forefathers. JS continues touring in support of their
superb freshman effort, "Under a Killer Blue Sky" and don't be surprised to
find their performance and song-writing, perhaps, a little longer in the
whiskers.

Why the Victory icon. Please tell me they arent signing ANOTHER BAND. I havent heard this band yet, but it seems that Victory is signing WAY TO many bands. How can they give attention to all of them?

Victory does not care about their bands, they care about signing as much of a certain trend as possible. They are also one of the few indie labels that take the rights to their artists songs.
