Batman: The Animated Series

While the Dark Knight thread(s) are still booming, I thought it would be appropriate to create a seperate thread for what is probably the second greatest adaptation of Batman under Nolan's films(and dont get me wrong I love the Burton films) which capture the psychology and essence of the charater, as well as the villians. Batman: The Animated Series, at least the original series, which spawned alot of spinoffs, was without a doubt one of the most well-written 30 min programs of all time, much less the most sophisticated Saturday Morning Cartoon ever(and X-Men was pretty darn good) and not to mention the gorgeous style of the show(which was based on the old school Superman Cartoons) . Anyways, feel free to discuss your memories of the show and what not.

what an awsome opening, especially having Danny Elfman's awsome theme, which no matter how great the Dark Knight is, Elfman's theme will always be the definitive Batman theme in my head
