"Work" before play

Does anyone know how "work" by jimmy eat world is tuned on guitar? i spent a whole guitar lesson trying to figure out the tuning, with no result. drop c# sounds almost right, but not quite. and if you listen, it sounds like he is playing all open strings. Can anyone help?

I think it is drop C#.

it's drop C# on the E string. the rest is only half step down. i saw them play it live this way...

we tried that to, but it didnt sound right, it was me, him , and his brother crammed in this little room trying to figure it out.

It might just be the different sounds of guitar.

Or the...um...yoru string type.

Something of that sort.

honestly i've only messed around with the intro and C# seems right on... here's where i got help and basically the whole song...
